@NosoCOMINSOON it's not a stupid question :) All new 911's are model 997 series cars. Prior to that was the 996 series, then the 993 series, 964's, and it goes from there. Since everyone knows it's a 911 most people don't usually call them that because it's been around for 40 years...it's much easier to call them by the series/chassis number so you know what car is actually being talked about. :)

@Fairhavenbranch I think the point is, to demonstrate what this modifier has achieve with an old mini and a VTEC engine, they are testing it against a very accomplished and well regarded and well sorted sports car as a bench mark, rather than saying look you can have a crappy old modified car that is faster and cheaper than a Porsche! I might be wrong but they are aimed at slightly different markets..
