well well, then why do you not simply question God himself?? IT's easier to do than you think. If you see him, then its too late. He wants to speak to you as an individual, its up to you to listen. He can show you things meant only for you that will baffle the rest of the world. God and senses go hand and hand. You use faith in science, believing the facts are facts. Why not believe if only for a moment he is real, and then speak to him. You'd be surprised what you can get.

I'd now freely pretend that if someone really has seen some "God" (what is "god" ? What is "god" to the one seeing "him" ?) he's suffering from serious mental issues or is hallucinating big deal.

Apart from that, you don't have to see God; it would of course be a big help to make all those religious tales real; but it's a matter of faith, of emotions. From a empirical point of view and according to common sense, no such thing can be seen. Most importantly: I can't see it, so it doesn't exist.

I know this is a difficult one. If things exist outside of our perception is discussed in philosophy since day 1. But the main thing is to me: If I don't see, hear, feel, smell etc. something, it is not existing. No-one has ever seen any God; only the mentals and drugged ones maybe.
