@Jameshonda93 get an 03-04 cobra (terminator), not that the gt r bad u just cant throw a supercharger on 1 and be done with it-it has 2 be tuned just right,or else-the engines just aren't built for boost like the 03 and 04 cobra that already come stock s/c, and obviously the shelbys.I have an 03 and i highly recommend them-there just awesome i'll never sell it-a lot of people say that there still the best built mustang 2 date-the price compared 2 all u get there's just no comparisonGEM!-gluck

Did you say that you bought the car like that. I'm not saying that this is what they did but maybe your o2 sensors could be bad but they disconnected the light in the dash cause it kept comming on and they didn't know why and decided to disconnect it again not saying that's what they did just food for thought. Has the check engine light come on since you own it cause to be honest mine came on within a day or two of cutting them off just curious

Along with the exhaust I recommended you'll need o2sensor wire extentions and mil kit to keep the check engine light off. I had a 96 mustang cut the mufflers off drove it like that and ruined the o2 sensors and had to replace them all it sucked learn from my mistake I wouldn't do it

I definatly wouldn't run without mufflers your gonna burn out your o2sensors that way and cause the check engine light to come on. Especially with a supercharger you want to ruin your engine that will for sure cause the o2 sensors have alot to do with your tune and without the mufflers it's either gonna be too lean or too rich and will be major problems I wouldn't do it

I'd go offroad x pipe from lethal performance there cheaper then high flow cats and make more power and mac longetubes. Then get a set of 40 series original flowmasters, get the flow tubes from latemodel restoration to go from your mufflers to the x pipe and get a set of tail pipes or just dump them.

Oh and also now would be the time to do other things that would require a tune aswell like gears and so on so you pay one price for one tune rather then have to have it tuned every time you change something your best to do as much as you can now or want to now so you don't have to keep paying to tune your car as much

I highly recomend jms as the place you will get the best deal. not only is the kit 100% complete you also get a hand held programmer with 3 custom tunes spacificly for your car. I do recomend that you find a trust worthy performance shop with a dyno where your at and have them tune your car since they have the car in front of them and don't have to guess where your at

I have to ask do you any exhaust work done. To add a supercharger you will have to be able to get all the extra air that your pushing in out as well. If I was you I would get mac longtube headers , the x pipe lethal performance made to bolt up to the mac longtubes then what ever mufflers you prefer but I would definatly upgrade the exhaust no question, you got the 78mm throttle body intake so you should be good otherwise

Your list sound good though im gonna get prob high-flow cats or none at all and high flow muffler. Everybody has loud cars around western PA. Inspections no problem either haha

I got my kit from jms chip. it comes with everything you need from the fuel pump ,injectors, everything you don't have to buy anything if you order it from them. I payed just under $4000 but they have upgrades so you could see there upgrades and pick things you would like to upgrade I didn't know about them until I orderd mine or I would of upgraded to the t- trim.

Superchargers and Turbochargers build up a ton of heat which causes the air charge going into the engine to be warmer and thus less dense. Intercooling the air cools the charge air down, making it more dense and letting the engine make more power.

cause you need that fake non working hoodscoop yes? and those side scoops do alot dont they? depending on what year the only difference between the V6 and the GT model is sway bars frame reinforcement tranny and motor realistically you could get a V6 stang and swap it for GT motor and trans and have cheaper insurance. honestly though if you arnt going to motor swap and throw on a few bolt on's then get the GT

@jorgechoro I have an '02 GT (which has a slightly different engine, but still close enough) with really tall gears in the rear end (3.08:1, I believe) and I get 24 MPG combined city/highway and 28-31 on the highway. A V6 will do a little better on fuel but if you're a straight male then you should buy the GT. V6s are fine for high school and college girls who want something that looks good but don't give a damn about cars.
