honestly, I've driven many maseratis and had a chance to take them on the street. They are not built "great" as in comparison to aston martins or something in the same price range. Maserati's are great for cruising, looking good, sounding great, and having something that can be subtle all at the same time. What they are NOT: supercars, "basically ferrari's", or RELIABLE.

However, I still love these cars.

A friend of mine teaches road course racing & he gets to ride in all kinds of high end cars. He said the most overrated "sports" car he's ever driven on a track is a Maserati. He said the suspension on them must be made out of angel food cake. He also said that making them look the way they do is dangerous because people who buy them don't realize how bad they are, performance wise and that if you don't know what you're doing, you could get hurt in them. Guess I'll never have to worry about it.

This car does look really nice but its funny how its really not a fast car at all and when you buy it, your mainly just paying for the luxurious features and aesthetics. even though cars like the M3, Evo X, STi, RS5, AMG C63 all beat it in every performance category and cost less. not hating just saying you mine aswell take a video of it sitting still because its acceleration isn t anything special. and its not a rare car at all.

@FuckYeahBra People on the street wouldn't look twice at any of those cars you listed. Also, the cars you listed aren't rare either. Also, you could go on for hours talking about cheaper cars being faster than more expensive cars but at the end of the day it's up to the person who has enough money. I know if i had enough money to buy a maserati, i definitely wouldn't get an Evo X or STi just because they're faster..

I am not hating on this car but the people saying that it has an amazing sound, when it isn't really justified and the fact that the title of the video is talking about acceleration and revs when it actually isn't much of a performer at all. lol i mean cmon, can you see how small those rotors are. its depressing to me that Maserati, who already has plenty of luxurious car decided to focus on aesthetics instead of performance. especially in a car that looks as mean as this.

@mickey20009 son, the bahnhofstrasse next to 5th Avenue, probably the most busy place in the world for walkers and it being zurich's business and banking area. In 5th avenue you got traffic lights, in Bahnhofstrasse you do not. If you wait for every single person to pass, you will probably wait hours, so you have to force yourself through somehow. The odler people you could clearly see stopped, even with the next car, were unsure what to do. I say this because I drive that same street every day.
