Repressed Memories are real I was raped from age 5 till I was an adult I did not remember any of it till 2 years ago I felt irritated around him but I did not no why.. now I know and my mum told me that he used to rape her too and my mums sister said that he tried to rape her when she was 14 but never said anything cuz she did not want to split the family up I am living proof that this does happen my dad has admitted to bits its still going to court and he will be going to jail

I need to listen to these people more intently and convince myself even harder, perhaps even get on some powerful medications to forget my memories of abuse (I mean false memories). please tell me it was not true. please tell me it was not so. convince me my memory is contaminated by all of these stories (i mean false stories of abuse). Remind me to forgive and forget, lest I get sued for telling the truth ( i mean the false memories).

She actually had handprints emerge on her body where she had been abused as a child and other physical signs as this stuff came out. Repressed memories are real. We all cope w/ traumatic experiences differently. You can be made to believe something happened that did not but that doesn't mean that all claims of repressed memories are false.

I congratulate psychologists who fully understand the purpose of therapy. Therapy is about taking responsibility for ones own actions, not to blame others by concocting wild fantasies. Accusations are a defense mechanism...it symptoms the need for more therapy...not the need for more attention.
I hope professional organizations (child protection, police, psychology/counseling) will act effectively to stop the bad practices. These false accusations endanger REAL victims of abuse, and discredit the professions. It's still a huge problem. Thanks for posting this.

Family courts are secret, all-powerful and incredibly corrupt. This is a world-wide epidemic. Your child could be next. All it takes is ONE anonymous phone call to a Child "Protective" Agency.

Deputy Sheriff Paul Ingram confessed to his childrens allegations of satanic sexual abuse involving a huge cult complete with sacrifices.
Every last bit of it was false. ingram was in prison for something on the order of 12 years.
All of it a fabrication...and Ingram confessed. He later tried to recant. Hysteria and ruin.
