Awesome video! I love all the cool behavior chain tricks Vela knows! SWEET! I am so happy that I watched this now, I feel better and less stressed about submitting my video. :) THANKS!!
You have the Champion title?? We just got our titles, from Novice to Expert. =D Will work on the Champion title... =9 You can see us in the Title Holders list, Australian shepherd Loke. ;)
@lddad57 - Thanks! Vela is a Flat-Coated Retriever and my "destiny dog". One of the reasons we do Trick Dog is, that she's dog-dog and dog-people reactive (not aggressive - rather from the other end of the spectrum). this helps her concentration and contact with me, also impulse control.
The Pat Miller quote at the end of your video meant so much to me. Not what I hear at my training center, but it is the way I have been training. Thank you for sharing those words.
And vielen Dank für the video. It was amazing. I especially enjoyed your distance work.
@we3nmke - thanks for the roses! I have to laugh a bit beacuse one thing you seldom see in our films is Vela gettig a treat - and then there' that quote. I do that intentionally to show, that the dog is not dependent upon the treats for "good" behavior, but I also have nothing against treats. Heck, I treat myself to a Dürrem when I've been a good boy at the dentist and didn't bite HIM. ;-))
Well done! Love all the tricks :)
