B&W in wall or ceiling speaker test

The only purpose I can see for these is ceiling mounted surrounds in arrays so that you get equal balanced uniform frequency coverage around the room not just over the seating area the room from a few feet back from the front at least 6 or so feet back and then place the rest every few 2 feet apart till the area is surrounded uniformly.

Bose kills this shit. I had those same speakers and they sucked ass with my receiver, but the Bose ones sounded awesome. Seriously try Bose, if u set it up right, it kicks ass with quality.

@Drtorky I thought B&W was an independent company. LOL I don’t think there are many of us that like Bose but I have listened to some Bose in pub and they sounded fairly good I could feel the beat the mid to high wasn’t harsh or brittle sounding in fact I like calm listening even with my JBL speakers.

My friend plays his B&W DM601 and CC6 will the CC6 sucks it doesn’t match up to L/R its dull and L/R is too bright! I like design of the DM601.

I use up to x12 JBL control 1 surrounds for the surround array in small room, so there are no excuse it can’t be done. I’ve done it! I even have matrix overhead surround that you won’t find on most common AVR with Dolby-EX. I use separate Dolby pro-logic decoder to gain the extra matrix channel or the matrix channel rear that was used as overhead in (2002) We Where Soilders and it even works wonders on Eraser that was mixed in Dolby digital 1996, now then!

@xdragosx For sure, or in fact the "infinite baffle" the ceiling space will provide. As they are heard in this video, there is no bass as expected.
