i dont want to offend anyone, but this song isnt a love song, its actually an extremely sad song. its about a guy and a girl that loved each other but couldnt make it work no matter how hard they tried, or how much effort they put into the relationship, so its over. and although they are both sad about it, its for the best. they understood goodbye was the only thing but they will always love each other, whether or not they will ever say it again, they really do.
