Do you have to update the nvidia cards alot or can you make it self update because i wanna buy one of these but i dont want to update it all the time, please help
It's part of being a gamer and it's not only for nvidia. If you are going to be an amd user then you also have to update drivers regularly. If you are not a gamer and just use your card for desktop use, movies and media editing then you don't have to update drivers quite as often.
@Collective11011 I'm planning to get one too, my current card is 9800gt 1gb. I want to ask you: do you get good performance in games and do you regret not getting a Ti? Because in most places I've looked everyone's talking about how the Ti is super awesomely better than the non- Ti, but they don't say exactly how good it is.
@victor7491 I think the Gigabyite GTX560 non-ti is awesome for its price. And im extremly hapy with its performanse. You can look at the difrence on the Pass mark site just go to the high end gpu bencmark. Bare in mind that this card overclocks crazy and can easely reach the GTX560ti stock performance.
THIS PARTICULAR CARD HAS PROBLEMS WITH BATTLEFIELD 3. IT'S FACTORY OVERCLOCK IS TOO HIGH AND CAUSES BF3 TO CRASH AFTER A FEW MINS. YOU HAVE TO REDUCE CLOCK SPEEDS AND INCREASE VOLTAGE WHICH WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY AND REDUCE MTBF. I WOULDN'T BUY IT IF YOUR PLAYING BF3. GET A REFERENCE 560TI INSTEAD.
i have the zotac gtx 560 oc (factory overclocked . 860mhz core clock) and when i play games like battlefield 3 the temperature rises to 85,86,87 °C is it normal? i have problem playing bf3 on ultra and i think its because the high temperature .. but playing in high.. the temperature rises to 85°C anyway.. but without problems .......,, i added one more 120mm fan to my case and its the same .. somebody know if this temperature is normal ? ? the cooler of the card is stock..
@iKiillQuiik 1 inlet fan in the left and 1 outlet fan in the rear.. but the rear fan is very slow..it came with the case.. im thinking on changing it and adding one more inlet fan on the front of the case
@robertorrt i think my processor is reaching high temperatures too.. is a i5 2400 3,1ghz and it gets temperatures like 76,77°C playing bf3 ... and im playing in 1280x1024 resolution .
@robertorrt i got a 200mm fan in the fron for pull, 1 200mm on top push, 2 120mm in the left for pull and 1 120mm in the rear to push the max temp iget is 38 °C
@TERMINATORPortugal You can also can get a higher core clock aka 1GHZ just by increasing the core voltage in the Gigabyte overclocking utility, it not the best but it the only program without changing anything, that will change the voltage.
@hoppsan4 You don't need a 500 watt power supply, you only need a PSU that can supply 225 watt to the video card because of the 3X 75 watt input it needs, so if you are doing extreme overclocking or have a fast CPU or many hard drives then you will need a bigger PSU.
Wrangler jeans sux...I bought this for $150, why spend $200 for the TI? SLI this 560 OC and I won't need any more power for 1080p...there is such a thing as overkill and waste of money!
@MageDb0w I have a EVGA GTX 560 SC and it runs BF3 at 80 fps on all high settings with and without 2x AA and once everything is blowing up(and I mean everything on a 64 man server) it never goes under 40 fps ever and it doesn't even lag then. I have 4GB of GSkill ram and a 955BE OCed to 3.84GHz
@lionfw Dammit sorry I thought I read 560 Ti... Yes the 560 non Ti is for 6870 and the GTX 560 Ti is supposed to go against the 6950 since it's in the same bracket but also if you get a GTX 560 non Ti classified or SC it catches up to the 6950.
i am running BF3 on ultra settings with my gtx 560, the game is running smoothly, but the problem is the graphic card temperature! after playing for half an hour, tthe temperature of gpu reaches 90 C ! :o....wat can be done guyz?
@aFatBear5090 not sure about bf3, i belive most setting on high and some on medium at 1080p, and mw3 will run on max settings/1080p. :D im gettin new computer with 560ti, now i have 9800gt and it runs mw2 on max settings at 1080p and mw2 and mw3 dont have much difference on their graphics :)
@aFatBear5090 BF3 has a shit ton more graphics than mw3 and gtx 560 is recommended by Nvidia and DICE to run bf3 on 1920x1080 resolution atleast 45 fps average.
@aFatBear5090 This card is recommended to run Battle field 3 and I've seen a 450 run modern warfare 3 just fine for the fact it uses DirectX 9 graphics.
@aFatBear5090 BF3 all maxed out @ 1920x1080 yes unfortunatly had 2 overclock my GTX560 TI...i automatically think ur talking about the TI sorry....if ur talking about just GTX it won't max out everything but very close
@aFatBear5090 if ur asking about ease...its piss easy to overclock any graphics card just don't screw up the clocks 2 much, try to overclock everything proportionally...if u asking about over-volting and OCing thats a different story then i suggest u don't do it. Stick to safe overclocking
@aFatBear5090 The thing can get around 40 to 50 frames between battlefield 3 and MW3 on full HD and higher resolution on a single monitor. You won't be able though to get max settings on full HD. The main difference is Anti-aliasing. In full HD it may not be noticeable anyways. So yes, this will run and get good performance on both games.
i want to assemble a gaming /animation PC. i am thinking of buying intel icore i7 2600k processor. but today i got info tht if u r using this processor, then graphics card is not needed, as it had got intel hd graphics 3000. and i was thinking of buying separate nvidia gtx 560ti. but still if i buy both, will both work together giving max output from both? or will only either of them provide graphics and leave the other useless?
@rautrohit no the intel is the onboard one. like in built. so if ur gna game yeah u prob will want to buya 560 ti or 6950 and no they wont work together. with the intel u most likely cant even play easy to run games. if u hv a 560 or any other gfx card working then the intel should be deemed useless. my suggestion would be the i5 2500k and a 560 ti.
@WorldPeaceGaming - thanx for the reply :), the i5 2500k was my alternative to i7 2600k, but i am not just gamer but also an animator, i will be doing 3d editing, rendering, video editing, photoshop etc. so do u think i5 2500k will be enough for gaming as well as animation softwares?? bcoz computer engineer said i7 2600k will be essential.
@rautrohit yea it will b enough. if u got the mone yhell yeah go for 2600k. its not exactly "essential" but more "recommended". imp editing and photoshop that kinda stuff doesnt need 2600k but wtvr floats or boat. u can go google stuff but for 220 for the 2500k i think that shld b enough. amd also has cards specialized in 3d type editing liek firepro. but if i were you and wasnt on a budget, 2600k, 8gbram and up, 560 ti or better (id go for a 580, 6970, or 6990), and some big power
@WorldPeaceGaming - my budget is Rs 50,000 (approx usd 1000) and prices in india here are diff than wat in us (even if converted from dollar to rupees)..so i will also hv to look upon the prices of the specs........and also even i think 8 gb ram is enough for me, but my computer engineer recommended 16 gb ram for me :o i was shocked :p i havent heard anyone having 16 gb ram in their pc....lol, but anyways thanx for the reply and advice, i will c wat works out for my pc
@rautrohit yeah 16 would be nice. but honestly for 1000 4 gb would still be sufficient. for 1000 idk if u can fit a 2600k i think u can.2600k plus 6970 8gb ram get a good case like the nzxt phantom prob 650watt psu, some extra case fans, cpu cooler, yeah. buy from newegg online its cheapest, plus im sponsored by them :)
@WorldPeaceGaming - i wish i cld hv bought it online, but i live in india, so not possible. and ya i think i will go for 8 gb ram only, 16 gb will be extraordinary. is smps and psu same? bcoz my PC technician advised me 500w one.
@rautrohit yeah smps and psu is prety much the same but ihvnt herd of it recently.uh google power supply calculator but for 8gb with a i7a nd a high end gfx card id go for 600 and up
@WorldPeaceGaming - hmm, good point then! ...i will look into it. so now my config is almost final
intel i7 2600k
nvidia gtx 560 / ti
8 gb ram
i am looking to buy "Intel® Desktop Board DZ68DB" bcoz it combines the gpu of onbaord graphics of i7 with my gtx 560 graphic card by installing virtue software. any suggestion on this mobo?
@rautrohit i honestly dont think u need it. some typa fancy one. just get some 4 or 5 star one thats cheap and supports 4 memory slots 1 or 2 pcie slots and a i7
hmm ya and its expensive too. i thought of tht bcoz i will mostly use the gpu of gtx 560 graphic card, but then the onboard gpu of i7 will be useless and be wasted....... so u mean it wont make big diff by combining both bcoz gtx 560 is enough ?? ?
@rautrohit i dont even think u can. its pretty much useless.most other moobos come with a onboard gfx card but it sucks majorly and most enthusiasts buy a good 200 dollar one. dont worry bout that part just go for a regular mobo
@kevin3157 depends what ur gaming. thers a prety big price difference. the 560 can handle everything the ti can just not as good. if ur on a budget go for 560 but a ti is better if u need the boost
@Blackthorne2010 the gtx 560 is 5% better than the 6870 both on stock, but on max overclock the difference between those 2 increases to 10-15%(560 more overclock headroom)
got mine for 52 usd

pls help,
i want to assemble a gaming /animation PC. i am thinking of buying intel icore i7 2600k processor. but today i got info tht if u r using this processor, then graphics card is not needed, as it had got intel hd graphics 3000. and i was thinking of buying separate nvidia gtx 560ti. but still if i buy both, will both work together giving max output from both? or will only either of them provide graphics and leave the other useless?
what shld i do? pls suggest
rautrohit 4 months ago
@rautrohit no the intel is the onboard one. like in built. so if ur gna game yeah u prob will want to buya 560 ti or 6950 and no they wont work together. with the intel u most likely cant even play easy to run games. if u hv a 560 or any other gfx card working then the intel should be deemed useless. my suggestion would be the i5 2500k and a 560 ti.
WorldPeaceGaming 4 months ago
@WorldPeaceGaming - thanx for the reply :), the i5 2500k was my alternative to i7 2600k, but i am not just gamer but also an animator, i will be doing 3d editing, rendering, video editing, photoshop etc. so do u think i5 2500k will be enough for gaming as well as animation softwares?? bcoz computer engineer said i7 2600k will be essential.
rautrohit 4 months ago
@rautrohit yea it will b enough. if u got the mone yhell yeah go for 2600k. its not exactly "essential" but more "recommended". imp editing and photoshop that kinda stuff doesnt need 2600k but wtvr floats or boat. u can go google stuff but for 220 for the 2500k i think that shld b enough. amd also has cards specialized in 3d type editing liek firepro. but if i were you and wasnt on a budget, 2600k, 8gbram and up, 560 ti or better (id go for a 580, 6970, or 6990), and some big power
WorldPeaceGaming 4 months ago
@WorldPeaceGaming - my budget is Rs 50,000 (approx usd 1000) and prices in india here are diff than wat in us (even if converted from dollar to rupees)..so i will also hv to look upon the prices of the specs........and also even i think 8 gb ram is enough for me, but my computer engineer recommended 16 gb ram for me :o i was shocked :p i havent heard anyone having 16 gb ram in their pc....lol, but anyways thanx for the reply and advice, i will c wat works out for my pc
rautrohit 4 months ago
@rautrohit yeah 16 would be nice. but honestly for 1000 4 gb would still be sufficient. for 1000 idk if u can fit a 2600k i think u can.2600k plus 6970 8gb ram get a good case like the nzxt phantom prob 650watt psu, some extra case fans, cpu cooler, yeah. buy from newegg online its cheapest, plus im sponsored by them :)
WorldPeaceGaming 4 months ago
@WorldPeaceGaming - i wish i cld hv bought it online, but i live in india, so not possible. and ya i think i will go for 8 gb ram only, 16 gb will be extraordinary. is smps and psu same? bcoz my PC technician advised me 500w one.
rautrohit 4 months ago
@rautrohit yeah smps and psu is prety much the same but ihvnt herd of it recently.uh google power supply calculator but for 8gb with a i7a nd a high end gfx card id go for 600 and up
WorldPeaceGaming 4 months ago
@WorldPeaceGaming - hmm, good point then! ...i will look into it. so now my config is almost final
intel i7 2600k
nvidia gtx 560 / ti
8 gb ram
i am looking to buy "Intel® Desktop Board DZ68DB" bcoz it combines the gpu of onbaord graphics of i7 with my gtx 560 graphic card by installing virtue software. any suggestion on this mobo?
rautrohit 4 months ago
@rautrohit i honestly dont think u need it. some typa fancy one. just get some 4 or 5 star one thats cheap and supports 4 memory slots 1 or 2 pcie slots and a i7

rautrohit 4 months ago
hmm ya and its expensive too. i thought of tht bcoz i will mostly use the gpu of gtx 560 graphic card, but then the onboard gpu of i7 will be useless and be wasted....... so u mean it wont make big diff by combining both bcoz gtx 560 is enough ?? ?
rautrohit 4 months ago
@rautrohit i dont even think u can. its pretty much useless.most other moobos come with a onboard gfx card but it sucks majorly and most enthusiasts buy a good 200 dollar one. dont worry bout that part just go for a regular mobo
WorldPeaceGaming 4 months ago
I dont now buy a 560 or an 560 ti pls some one tell me pls
kevin3157 4 months ago
@kevin3157 gtx 560 is less money. gtx 560 ti performs much better.
Get the gtx 560 ti
chezitdude 4 months ago
@kevin3157 depends what ur gaming. thers a prety big price difference. the 560 can handle everything the ti can just not as good. if ur on a budget go for 560 but a ti is better if u need the boost
WorldPeaceGaming 4 months ago
would the non Ti run well on Battlefield 3 ?

i think you missed the point. the 560ti is better, but in this video he is unboxing a 560 non ti.

the new 460. if you have a gtx 460 now, this will not be an upgrade.

worth it over the ti?

@Recon9143 Personally as there's only a slight improvement with the Ti version it's not worth it for the extra £40-£50

Which performs better? This or the HD 6870?
Blackthorne2010 5 months ago
@Blackthorne2010 the gtx 560 is 5% better than the 6870 both on stock, but on max overclock the difference between those 2 increases to 10-15%(560 more overclock headroom)
