This is without doubt the best vocal interpretation of this song.I love both versions by the eagles and paul carrack but just listen to the soul in paul carracks voice on this version...completely outstanding.

Funny, I love pretty much every Paul Carrack song (from Tempted to Over my Shoulder) and even though I'm not an Eagles fan, This song was always one of my all-time favorites, now I know why ;-)

I thought I was right... Paul Carrack and Timothy B. Schmidt (bassist for Eagles) were going to make a band together and this song was written for that band but nothing came of it. Whilst Carrack wrote this song,  Schmidt helped with the music and Eagles released this first on 'Hell Freezes Over'
