cool video, is it possible to switch the playback to repeat hit? so if you hit the same button 3 times, the sample will appear 3 times? or is there just one-shot samples, so the button will stop the sample on second press? thx :)

i'm new to djing and want to get into it. i want to eventually use serato with turn tables. I was thinking about getting the djm 400 with the something like the Numark DMC2 Rackmount DJ Software Controller. Any help is much appreciated

Hy Sonicboom333,

i think it can be don with all Mixers OR CDJ´s who have a sample Bank in it. Also you can use a Redsound Soundbite Sampler, they start at 149 Euro. On this piece of Gear you have a few Sample Banks, and you can put your Voice or Music on it. If you press Play from the Buttons you hear the recorded Sample. There are a few Mixer on the Market,who have a sampler in it (Tascam x-9, Numark EM260...).Google it.

So, if you want to keep your actually used Mixer and want to extend it wiht a external Sampler likte the Soundbite or Roland SP 404, you need a free Line input. I hope this is beeing a little help. Practise and N Joy

They should add a sample bank to an efx unit like the efx-1000 gives it a lot more value! Man if they'd actually release that I would definatly save some money for it! (Because I like my efx-500, but don't think the efx-1000 is worth the money)

You can add to your set by using the robot effect on the 800, get sum kool sounds lol and sum are bloody funny.
