  • Band Captain. Sweepstakes. That is all.

  • Anyone remember the Drum Majors from 04? Was Wesley Brooks one of them?

  • QUESTION. Who were the drum majors in this video?

  • @charbex

The drum majors in this video are Lindsey Gray, David Sulpy, and Clara Yang.

  • How many hours a week did you practice?

  • long enough.

  • You know, for a band as big as that, the drill isnt complicated at all.

  • I went to Brookwood HS in Brookwood, Alabama. In fact, I was Drum Major my senior year. Then I marched in the Million Dollar Band.

  • haha i see me and rebeccah alone at the far left....

Was this the show somebody paid the announcer to crack jokes about Mr.Wilson's baldness?

  • I was in the band in 1995, we called him "Hitler", but we did have the best band.

  • LOL yes dealing with 300+ high school kids in one setting will do that to you, I suppose...haha

  • Go for it. Brookwood's band is run very well.

I hope that your time there was as wonderful as mine was.

    Mikey

Former BHSMB member, soloist and marching + brass tech.

  • I really did not like this show at all! I'm glad I graduated before ya'll did it. The Hero's show ('00-01') and the 70's ('03-04') show were the best shows when I was there!

  • I was a freshman for the 70s show, best show i've ever seen done at brookwood. This one wasnt bad, fun to play

  • Really? Whats your name and what did you play?

  • that was kind of a disappointment.

  • a lot of the notes seemed either flat or sharp or just out of tune

normally im not a big band critic-because i love marching band-

but i think you guys couldve done better...

  • too bad we won grand champion...

    huh who would have thought?

  • hey i was in this, see the sax kid all the way in the back, right in front of the souza, o yea

  • Im going to be in HighSchool Next year yay me! Oh yah, this is the highschool im going to be in. How come nobody's put up videos of Five Forks Middle School? Thats where most of the highschoolers came from!

  • omfg! i go there 2! do you still go there??? i'm in 7th rite now...you probably don't know me....

  • how many mellophone players did you guys have this year?

  • I'm not completely sure, but probably around 8 or 9? I'm in the trumpet section, so I don't really know.

  • cool

  • Wow that was a great show. Trombones sound awsome of course. Go bones.

  • Thanx for postin! Alum '91 shoutin' outin'!

  • Awesome show, I was in this band. I graduated in 2002. The beginning sounds like Paris from the "Around the World in 8 Minutes" show my Freshman year. Brings back memories!

  • Wow, excellent. This takes me way back to my years in HS.

  • how'd you score?

  • We won this competition

  • that's so awesome =) im a band person too! but i play the sax. and i love gershwin.
