she was such an inspiring little girl. definitly made me realise i need to take a lot more things for granted. the rainbow day almost 2 years ago for adana definitly should be every year! beautiful young girl x
I hate this disease. What do I say to my two and a half year old daughter when she asks me "Mummy, if I am an extra special good girl this year, will Santa bring me nice skin"? How do I answer that? Why must my daughter's eyes hold such acceptance at such a young age? That deep down inside she knows she is asking for something that Santa cant bring her. And the helplessness I feel as her mother when I cant take her pain away, I cant make everything better. I'd give anything to change that.
Its been almost 2 years since Adana flew (22.11.08) ........ I still hear her hearty laughter, still see her eyes of wisdom beyond her years and remember her witty comment of 'Get over it' when things get tough............I'm proud to have been her mum!
I do not know you but may God bless your soul. I'm betting you are already in heaven given your such an innocent child who didn't deserve what happened to you. You are a beautiful butterfly
Beautiful video, we really never will forget her. She was and still is an inspiration of bravery, in her short life she raised awareness of her condition and helped raise thousands of pounds for the DebRA charity in a bid to find a cure.
