I think the meaning to this song is a lot simpler than some of you think. The robot held a grudge on the father who took the boy she loved away from her, and was left to "die". When she was reborn, her new master was the same young boy, but did not recognize him because she did not "realize the spilling sands of time" (he had grown up). Unfortunately, the boy ended up looking like his father, and she killed him out of misunderstanding. She realized and regretted her mistake at the end.
She rejoined him and entered his service as his bodyguard. She protected the leader of the re-cycle project(her master). *I think the young boy wasnt real and is just represents his innocence* Eventually she saw his heartlessness and killed him, the man who "killled" her master. She soon realized that humans change and can become corrupt, except innocence cant be destroyed just hidden. She sees how he hasnt changed inside and decides to live with him for all eternity.
My interpretation of this song might be exactly correct or horribly misguided. Luka was a part of a ruling family of sorts as the guardian of their youngest. They sign a pact in secret that if he ever became as destructive and heartless as his father that she would kill him, though she didnt know what that would mean being a robot and not knowing the value of life. He was taken from her and she lapsed into a repair mode of sorts for years until her master was the head of the house. See next comm
I just realized something... many of Luka's songs involves luka killing the person she likes. For example, Bullet for Prisoner, Rip=Release, her killing kaito in another one of her songs and now this... woah... but luka is still awesome!!
@cookiememorytin feels a lot like real life. A lot of times people have to make the mistake/take away something precious to them before they realize it's meaning or it's new shape.. this song is heart touching that way.

Luka is a robot which has been separated from her master, a little boy. And she search for him and never gives up finding her old master. In this world robots are a threat for the humility and Luka gets reborn as a new robot.Then she remember how she and her master was separated and that the man that took him away from her looks exactly like her new master. She takes her revenge by kill her master and then she realize that her “new master is her old master” and she realize her mistake.
This reminds me of an anime....not the excact story but like robot kinda people with a master and they're fighting against each other. i forget the name but the robots were called like Angel somthing.
This is why, if you're a robot searching for your master after getting restarted, you should go by the rule, "Rescue, THEN revenge." Just so you know that the person that you're killing isn't actually the person you vowed to save.

Luka is a robot which has been separated from her master, a little boy. And she search for him and never gives up finding her old master. In this world robots are a threat for the humility and Luka gets reborn as a new robot.Then she remember how she and her master was separated and that the man that took him away from her looks exactly like her new master. She takes her revenge by kill her master and then she realize that her “new master is her old master” and she realize her mistake.

Even though Meiko, Kaito, Miku, Rin, and Len are evil in this video and are trying to kill Luka's master.....They still look kind of epic.
I can only imagine what their fighting was like.

This reminds me of an anime....not the excact story but like robot kinda people with a master and they're fighting against each other. i forget the name but the robots were called like Angel somthing.

Kaito and Miku are the robots.
Meiko, Rin, and Len are their masters.
Meiko seems to have Miku helping her fight, and Rin and Len have Kaito, or its the other way around Im not sure.
And 5:30 is a memory. Of her young master with her original master.

@MikuHatsune242 She a robot, she get's her young master taken away from someone and she dies. She tries to find him and she remember the person who took her master away so she kills him. But she finds out in the end that the person that she killed was her young master that grew up and looked the same as the one that took him away.

@PuddingMcMuffin It's not her "father"....she's a robot....she kills him because she thinks he's the one that took her young master away from her but then she realizes that's it was the young master all along....he just grew up while she was "dead"

@ClippedA No, I meant to say "His father". But from the looks of it, she found him again when he was older, and after a while of protecting him, she remembers the face of the person who took her master away. I'm just guessing that it was the boy's father that took him away from her.
