What is he playing in unison with? For us guys that love our trombone, Knepper won't be forgotten. I wonder how much Randy Brecker's hard bop trumpet style was influenced by Knepper & his bone?
There is a concert of Aladar Pege, Hebie Hancock, and the late Tony Williams live at carnegie hall in New York.I believe the wife of the late Charles Mingus was so moved by his playing that she gave him one of his basses.The year was 1980.
