  • Great guitar playing...

  • Ole!!!!!

  • Hi, nice composition. I have a question though. Is a Solea por Bulerias in general, something like a Solea that is played a little faster?

  • solea por buleria is a solea played with bulerias tones. and solea can be really fastbut it just one of the oldest flamenco styles, my teacher call solea : the mother of flamenco

  • que guitarra es de ramirez??? toas mubien y mu limpio tio suerte

  • I appreciated your great music. I don't know a lot about music. I played saxaphone(Eflat alto) and was a percussionist in the jr. high school and high school bands. I later had music appreciation in college. I have always enjoyed music and had the belief a person doesn't have to know how to lay an egg to be able to spot a rotten one. I think being able to blend atonal music with tonal and have it sound wonderful is an art form. You do it well. You sir are an artist. Thank you for posting.

  • es de jose ramirez esa guitarra??

  • very good

very clear sound, it's quite rare

  • You are a van halen with an acoustic guitar!!!!!

  • you play realy wonderful!*****

  • RaaHeeeeyyyyyyyy ;)

  • Wow.....i really enjoyed your video. Also you dont seem like a jerk. hint hint, marlow

  • Great one!

  • Great Playing. Ole!

    Your Rami sounds great.

  • Mr Fransisco, Edna (csybu) directed me to this. She so proud for have a teacher like you. No wonder. If I live there I'll ask you to teach me! You're really amazing! I wish I could play like you...

  • wonderful, very imaginative, csbyu directed me to your page, your extremely good. How long have you been playing guitar? how long have you studied theory?

  • lordbow - thanks for your comment. I've been playing for nearly 30 years - don't let the lack of grey hairs fool you haha! No theory studies at all - flamenco players usually begin arranging their own versions and sequences of the music they learn and this arranging is key to eventually composing their own music (for those that do). Best wishes.

  • Just wondering? A flamenco guitarist who has no knowledge of music theory will be able to arrange and maybe compose, if he acquires an arsenal of falsetas from various palos from which he can develop an intuitive understanding of the art!?

  • A Flamenco Guitarist already knows the song forms or else he is not a Flamenco Guitarist

    Ole!

  • What a pleasure to watch and listen to. Great playing.

    Sal

  • Fantastic solea por bulerias - what a player! I think this is in the key of E; does anyone know anything else about this style.

    Thanks

  • Thanks cheekypedro for the comment. Technically it is in the key of E if you take the capo into account. However, the shapes and patterns all relate to Eflat/D#.

  • Great piece, what make is your guitar? Great work keep them coming.

  • Hi mariotito. Thanks for your comment. The guitar is a Ramirez from 1971.

  • Wow. great

  • Outstanding guitar playing! 5***** I was wondering why so many flamenco pieces are played with a capo on the first fret? Thanks for posting! -Derek

  • awesome play !!

  • Wow! Just wow! *****

  • Great playing. I have the same picture of Paco on the wall! Ha ha! You have some nice students too!

  • Thanks marRicardo. Ah yes, the picture of Paco on my other bulería video - University (of Madrid?) sweatshirt, cigarette in hand and playing Taranta I think? Thanks for the comment and for listening. Best wishes from London.

  • Perfect!

    And i like the tuners:)

I think the top is made of cedar.

  • Thankyou walexey1985. Yes, traditional peg tuners and you're right - a cedar top.

  • Great ! I liked the Intro...your sound quality on this recording is great! howd ya do that?lol

  • Thanks for your comment AlexMackinum. Sound was recorded into the camera and also independently through a condenser microphone into recording equipment. I then use only the footage from the camera (mute the sound) and synchronize the independent recording which has reverb added. Best wishes.

  • Thank You for explanation ...I look forward to more of your videos. Keep recording plz,lol

  • aweeeesome .. i feel sad that i started playing guitar only 4 years ago! I dreamt of playing like this :`)

  • Ole! I bet you studied with Manolo Franco, am I right?

  • Thanks FlamencoEstudio. Interesting - as a child I had lessons from my Enlish father (my mother is Spanish) and since then am mainly self-taught. I never studied with Manolo Franco but have always admired his incredible playing. I never thought of him as an influence but since you mentioned it I can now see what you mean - there must be something unconsciously creeping through!

  • bravo!!! perfecto. Eso suena de escandalo!!!

  • Ollleeeeeeee.....
