I am trying to make limoncello but i can not find grain alcohol, so instead i bought ehtyl alcohol but a warning sign came with it saying that it is dangerous if it is drinked, so can i still use ethyl alcohol to make limoncello?
My GOD! You're making the italian Limoncello using the RUSSIAN vodka... It's made using pure alcohol... Vodka is a completely different thing, with other taste. Please, don't call it Limoncello... call it yellow thing.
I agree! And making it in just one day, just throwing lemon, vodka, sugar en water together only makes a dreadful lemonade. A good and real limoncello takes time and the right ingredients.

'The Ruslimoncello' ... not 'The Yellow thing' because its also very nice to drink it, tast like Limoncello ( onely with less alcohol)

Yes you can take Ethyl but you can not take Mythyl...... thats dangerous!!!!

if some of the white stuff is attached to the peeled lemon zest, will that affect the fermentation of the limonello

Hello, its better to take the white skin off the lemmon .....but I have it also sometime, and my Rus(limoncello) its so nice!!!!
