Experts usually use scientific method, which refers to a number of techniques for acquiring new knowledge, or correcting and integrating previous knowledge using empirical and measurable evidence. I can tell it's not albino because of the eye color. The eyes aren't red or pink. They are brown. Also, this penguin to me at first looked like a pile of snow. I wanna hug it! X3Nice video!

It will be less visible on land (snow/ice) but more visible in water. The odd colour means it wont be attractive as a mate to other penguins, so it won't have an opportunity to reproduce. This means the genetic defect won't be inherited by any offspring.

Whiteness wasn't helpful; a white penguin may be invisible on land, but adult emperors don't have any predators on land. Their predators are in the sea, and an all-white penguin would stick out like a sore thumb in the water.

The survival of the species would probably depend more on the abundance of krill - the chicks' main food source - which is declining due to the reduction in the amount of sea ice in the winter months.

The penguin must have got two recessive genes for feather color and thats why he/she is all white however the eyes are brown because he got the dominate genes for eye color. He is not albino as stated in the video info.

If I recall right it's not an albino; Unlike albinos, Snowflake did have color pigments and didn't have pink eyes.
