Hey your probably not going to read this, but I know at least one of you will. I've been inspired to make health and fitness videos and I want to spread the word about it. Would you please take a second to view my channel and tell me what you think about the video. Thanks guys
I wonder about whey powder,I mean it is the by product of making cheese so it must already be in milk mustn't it? I never thought of using jam to sweeten but it makes sense as it is less calories than spoonfulls of sugar and is flavoured too.
here's my recipe for a shake with low sugar...good for diabetics like myself. Half cup water, 3 ice cubes, one scoop of whey, 2 tbsp milled flax seed (use coffee grinder), 1 tbs coconut flour (optional), 1/2 tsp cocoa powder, handful of frozen blueberries. YUMMY! very low in sugar and carbs and tastes plenty sweet...trust me. Adjust water for desired thickness...this recipe is very thick but pourable.
You could also add an egg or packet of Stevia...the egg will make it creamier.
@ray93950 after a workout you want to get something with sugar into your body it activates insulin and transport needed glucose and protein into the cells. This is a post workout shake.
@241Snipe Just drink whole milk. It will do you good until you're of age to drink this kind of stuff and even when you are of age, it's still really good to drink milk.
@TNT905 it has more sugar than necessary. you can leave the chocolate syrup and jelly out.. This one is pretty tasty, and I kinda use it as a sub. for dessert. However, if you use it after a killer workout, a little sugar is good, because it helps replenish the muscles, and gets the protein into the body faster. Like I said in the vid. this is just one version, there are many variations and the right one for you depends on your goals.
i would not use this recipie

What kind of blender did you use in this video? It looks kind of like the Magic Bullet, but it's not, right?

@241Snipe doesn't depend on your age, base it on your body's calorie needs in relationship to your training program.

Damn thats a lot more creative than mine, all I do is blend it with water, it doesn't taste too bad, but I use 3 scoops and it's a mass protein mix
