the au was not ahead of its time. it did not feature anything more than the vt. the vt was an evolution of the vs. ie, same basic look but rounded up a bit. the au was a disaster, hence why the ba was so well received... as for the ve looking old already, i guess that means the fg does also. since they copied it and all. look at the pumped guards and the rear window and quater section, identical. the ve went to a more european look and the fg is a copy, but not as nice. sorry but au is ugly!
