Hi did you use a sata or ide hdd, because everytime in the past when i tried to install to a sata hdd it didnt let me install, as it didnt find hdd but when i installed to ide drive it wont let me boot with out a iboot 3.1.1 disc thanks
Will this delete anything on the windows 7?? And is it ok to do this if i am already dual booted with ubuntu 11.10 on windows boot manager? Will it just triple boot it??
and mac os x is installed and everything but when i restart my computer after the installation the internet goes away i went to network on system preferences it says my ethernet is not found or something like this plz help
i am commenting by reinstalling this but its the same thing after i uninstall it
mine i shut down restart and then hit f12 to boot menu and then run the cd it says hit enter to run then it goes to the screen on 0:22 on your video then boots up windows help please i did everything your first and second vid said to do. thanks i hope its a easy fix
hi followed all steps correctly and downloaded the torrent for mac os from description... everything work fine untile the snow leo installation completed and i had to restart the system... as soon as i clicked on restart button i took off the mac os dvd but the screen just stays black with "-" ( underscore flashing ) i restarted again the system and same..... plus i can not get back to windows even though if i use the windows set up dvd came with my laptop....
@Tutorialz11 i manage to install it but then whenever i restart the comp the mac os x loads super slow its like i cant click anything. my specs are core 2 duo 2.4ghz and 4gb of ram and gt 220 g.cards
@Skiezzmashups same, i think type Cpus=1 when the error pops up, OR look for a torrent that has a bootloader in it then then you wont see the error, it will boot the installation
I installed it in VM Ware player. It's like a charm. I gave it 2 GBs of RAM and 2 cores of my CPU. I have 8GB of RAM so I may give it more. I have an AMD Pheonom 2 x6 core running at 3.2 GHz. lol. I could even install alongside Windows. I've had bad experiences with Hackintoshes before though.
Dude, message me and tell me what I should do. Did all your steps, when I get to the screen on 0:24 and my computer reboots...It's NOT my DVD because I tried it on my other computer and it did work. Is there anything I could tweak on my computer which will allow this processing of new OS to install properly??!!
I'm pretty new with all these. I tried installing snow leopard 10.6.3 on my computer through DVD disc. The installation was completed already, but when I try to boot it, it got hang at the silver apple screen with just an apple at the middle of the screen. Any clue with what's happening? Or is it that my hardware cant support snow leopard? Please help and thanks alot!! =)
I got the same problem like @Mrtalha876, When I boot from the DVD, it reads it but it just reboots. I have a Dell PC i7 processor, 6gb RAM, ATI Radeon 4850... I dont know whats the problem...btw, I can successfully install the Mac OSx on my PC by VMware...but Im trying to install it Dual-Boot..I hope you could help me.
@Mrtalha876 This error might be caused by the speed of your computer or the ram. Not that I know if you have a good computer, but I'm just giving some causes. For example, I tried this installation on an Intel computer, but it's kind of old. It didn't work. The technology isn't capable of running it. It did the same thing your did. It could be your processor. If it is not Intel or AMD, most of the time it fails to work as well, and gets errors around your spot.
@Tutorialz11 isnt there like a hardware excelerator program or something? im an ipod programmer so i need a mac but my computer doesnt have the power to run the mac... its windows 7 and has 2.5 GHz, and idk if its AMD or intel, i think its intel. it sais processor: Pentium Dual core cpu... PLEASE HELP!
Hey everyone, this is the moderator of Tutorialz11. Are you confused on why I have Easy BCD listed in the desription? Then don't worry. I am currently uploading a video to Youtube on how to work and manage with this program. The video will discuss a little bit as to why I put this program in the description. I will be posting links in part 1 and part 2 of my vids to this video. I will also give you a link out front in the desription box of part 1 and 2 to the video of part 3.
Hey I need some info regarding on this process before I start.
1) What is the version of Snow Leopard that we are installing?
2) What do we do with EasyBCD? (If it's too long to explain, just send me a PM)
3) Might be an obvious question, but if we install Snow Leopard, I'm pretty sure all Mac compatible software (Logic Pro, iMovie) could be now used right? That's pretty much why I want to install it.
@Tutorialz11 Hi can you please pm me what you pm'ed PityMuzic I'd like to know the answers to those questions too plus I'm going to ask few more questions through pm thanks :)
yeah I did saw yur first video. but just bcz you made a new partition, that does not at all mean it will dual boot. when u turn on the computer it will just load into mac OS X in this case
@rubinnify If you watched BOTH parts atcually, I made a partition out of the big volume, and then installed MAC onto that volume by formatting on the MAC OS drive so the OS could read the format. After the installation process, when you've done all that, you will have two operating systems listed in the automatic boot menu, unless you are using an external hard drive. When I get some time I will make a part three on Easy BCD, and the boot menu stuff. I'm sorry for the inconvience.
@rubinnify Did you watch part one? Part one shows you how. I showed it to you by making two different partitions, and running two different OS systems on it.
or you could just buy a mac maybe??

BradleyXM 7 months ago
@BradleyXM What are the tech specs on your computer? Tech specs as in processor speed, processor type, and RAM.
Tutorialz11 7 months ago
@Tutorialz11
It's a Lenovo Thinkpad, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHZ, and 2 GB RAM, 32 bit.
Also, for one it doesn't have hardware virtualization so VMware is not an option.
BradleyXM 7 months ago
@Tutorialz11 dude, processor speed and RAM have nothing to do with this. Go and learn about what you're talking about.

Thanks for the video.
I have the same problem as bradley. Running Asus laptop G50v with 4Gb Ram (soon to be upgraded to 8Gb), Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz. Windows7 HP x64
After changing boot to DVD as top priority, the black screen with white text at 0:24 commences, but then the computer reboots (endless cycle).
I am given no error log. Any clues?
Thanks
