Truth is needed for the past to be known! The greeks were not greeks at the time of Alexsander the Greats rule ! Macedonians were under a kingdom the so called greeks of todays greece are different people. If you identify a nation it must be correct and not made to suite ones political propaganda. As for your claim that Greece "did not exist at this time", one can only laugh. If that is the case, what on earth does the term "ancient Greece" refer to? Yes, the ancient Greeks were politically divided, but they still had a sense of belonging to a single Hellenic ethnos. They were first "united as one country" by the Macedonians in the fourth century BC, actually, not "1802". (The independence of modern Greece was declared in 1821, by the way.)
