im having trouble, I have a DVI-D chord plugged into my computer but when i go to the settings it says display divice on VGA. My computer has no VGA input and it wont let me change the setting. what do i do?
i got a dual vga cable and i got my 2 monitors plugged into it and both of them show the same thing and when i try and config them to make it seperate my computer only thinks there is one monitor :/ does this mean i have to buy a new video card or somthing please help :)
@TheZammy2blood From what you said my understanding is that your monitor doesnt have a dvi port and your graphics card only has one vga port, what you can do is buy a converter from vga to dvi so the dvi side plugs in to the comp and on the other side you plug in the vga witch leads to you second monitor, this is what I did and it worked great. Just search dvi to vga adapter in amazon and they have them for like 3 dollars. Hope this helps.
Lets see your what 12 will I am 60 when your my age your vision my not be what it is today. What is your point can you install dual monitors or do you want to talk about my eye sight. Here is a sub anyway.
I only have one GFX card, but it has multiple inputs. 2 HDMI, and 2 DVI. Can I have 1 monitor on HDMI, and one on DVI, or both on DVI, or both on HDMI?
for the record, you wouldn't have earthed yourself unless the computer was still plugged into the mains (with the switch powered off obviously!) other than that you would need to use a grounding matt to stand on or a grounding wrist strap which gets plugged into the mains.
so you need two graphics cards?

Good point, that a better way of doing it!

Never use the CD that came with the card. Always download the latest drivers from the manufacturers website.
