  • Is it bad that I have this burned onto a CD and sing along with it while driving?

  • *sigh* another awesome vid by scxcr. I don't know whether to be happy to watch these incredible videos or be sad to see such a talent go unnoticed. 25 more stars ya fuckin' goof.

  • RAGE RACER WAS ONE OF THE BEST RACING GAMER EVER MADE, MAYBE NO FOR EVERYONE BUT FOR THE 99% OF THE PLAYER WAS A GREAT GAME, I HAVE GREAT LOVE FOR THIS GAME AWESOME...............

  • This is just wrong, Ridge Racer, Rave Racer, Rage Racer were Arcade style racers that focused on drifting and high octane heart pounding music.

Its also a skills based Racing game where you had to hone your skills to the game to get top speed to make it to first place.

To casual non gamers the racing seems impossible but to dedicated gamers who play and use their brains to adapt, the challenge is very much welcome and addicting, you really need to give this game a chance.

  • Good Job=)

  • Nice. Sums up the game pretty much

  • Liking the gloves man.

  • ha this is the first time ive seen a self made musical tribute to a game. your originality inspires me.

  • Then I watched the video and realized it was a song.

    God i'm dumb.

  • It took my til the Eddie Izzard line to realize this video info was a goddamn poem.

  • personally i thought Ridge Racer and Rage Racer sucked!.even for PSX there was better driving games out there, like Need 4 Speed,Driver, and a few others, and don't say Gran Turismo was good because it sucked too!.when you hit a wall doing 150+ and just bounce off and keep going without even scratching the car, trust me,that is crap for a game!

  • The Ridge Racer series, keep in mind, is specifically an ARCADE game, and thus uses arcade-style gameplay and design. Need 4 Speed and Driver are more steeped in street racing than closed course tracks, and personally I found Need 4 Speed to be an unremarkable Road Rash with cars with stiff controls and gameplay-affecting framerate drops and without the progression. GT had much more to do and more ways to do it.

And you don't just bounce off, you lose a lot of speed in the process.

  • @jeffero80 you say the RR games sucked but in reality it was YOU who SUCKED, your skills were shitty you could not even make it past Gnade, casual gamer scum

  • @jeffero80 oh damn don't say ANYTHING else, PLEASE...... You were annoying enough, those were games, not simulators, now everybody knows YOU suck.....

  • i see what you ment in the comment, but at least is a new way to make reviews for you, do i kindy think that mr gamer is better than this, but since you started this lets where it goes

  • Why don't you like the vid? The rhythm is catchy and sounds great to me! I hope you have more of these for the future!

  • Because I'm a cynical bastard that uses his own pessimism as a motivational ploy to try and continually improve in everything and anything I do.

  • BTW this is a pretty unique take to reviewing? Is this something you'll be continuing? Or will you still be doing your Mr. Game Player reviews?

  • For now I'm doing both.

  • Yes, definitely keep doing both. :D
