I'm not saying you can't put a positive spin on some of Hitler's ideas, Rafjo, but his methods were at the very least questionable.

And what I actually meant was Savage's intolerance towards many people and the fact that his barbaric solution to the problem of gays/Muslims/whatever are similar to Hitler's. I can find the clip where he's yelling about cruise missiles if you like.

Now if you agree that cruise missiles are the way to deal with people, surely the radical Islamists are justified.

who the hell am i debating with??... NO, there is no "positive spin" that can be made. His ideas of a perfect world by extermination of specific groups is absolutely barbaric in nature. Hitler was a dictator that wished for global dominance through any means, and the eradication of Jews, Gypsies, Blacks, gays, and so on; anyone that did not conform to his definition of "the perfect race."

Point 2) And I will concede that Savage's methods are a bit unconventional but that is why I enjoy listening to him. He gets heated about certain topics, and is not afraid to speak out against what he believes to be immoral. Many people listening to his show also have a problem with homosexual behavior and islamofascism. But truth be told, he can get carried away sometimes.

Point 3) There is important point you must remember concerning radical islamists. They wish to destroy western society and create their version of a perfect moral world (i.e. everyone practicing Islam). These ideas are very "hitler-esque" if you will, and we need to destroy them. War is a terrible thing and as many have called it before, "war is hell!." But, the crucial point is that sometimes war is necessary to stop the evils of the world (those that try to change or destroy everyone else).

I'm aware of the arguments against radical Islam and I stand with you in opposition to its teaching, but blowing them up is exactly what they're doing to us and we call them barbaric.

What I feel you need to understand is that eradicating Islam is A: impossible no matter how many bombs you got (look at Afghanistan or Vietnam) and B: unChristian.

If neither of those facts bothers you then go ahead, apply pressure to the government to drop a fuckload of nukes on Islam...
