The HIV testing that is related to the video is considered an early detection test; when positive, it is followed up by further consultation to find more accurate results. Either way, it's a step in the right direction in regards to HIV testing especially among college aged students.

the 2 or 3 protein HIV test is not accurate - vaccinations, drug use, steroids and pregnancy can all cause positive hiv test results - hivquestions
