  • Jane Goodall already documented this 40 years ago...

  • like if you thought there was a bug on your computer at 1;49 ;)

  • God, this is interesting. Tell me, do you know what kind of classes you would take after highschool to be able to do this? What this profession called ?

Where does you income come from?

  • @prankstertwins Primatology and/or ethology, or possibly various subdisciplines of biology and anthropology, depending on your interest level. Much of it is in academia, often funded by federal science funding in various countries, but I think there're a few places that may provide private funding, such as the Max Planck Institute.

Frans de Waal is a rather famous and accomplished ethologist, who has written several extremely fascinating popsci books on the subject, if you'd like to read more.

  • we shold leave a bunch of sharp knifes and a bunch of chunks of metal with sharpening stones for packs of chimps...see what they come up with over 20-30 years

  • shit. they're catching up.

  • "Some smart chimp invented this"

Must be a chimp version of Einstein, definetly a scientist !

  • can somebody please make a video of a man in a chimp suit using a pneumatic drill and wearing a hard hat and then put the footage over the parts of the video where they're looking at the chimps on the laptop. If you can also reverse into shot on a forklift truck, that would be cool too.

  • Jesus loves you, you must love him back. You ungrateful swines!!!!!!!

  • Who else was hoping they were going to give them an entire rack from Snapon?

It's not really a tool for probing the camera, it's a random stick. I've seen crows making more advanced tools from bits of wire and sticks.

Alex the parrot, talking and problem solving.

Ants farming mould for dinner, in purpose built caves with dedicated staff to keep the place tidy.

Using a stick to poke a hole is not all that impressive.

  • Man I'm so childish, couldn't stop giggling every time they said "insert" x)

  • Good one scientists. Give them human technology, how long till they reverse engineer these cameras? Then they will build guns and probably missiles. Kill them all now while they are weak.

  • @00JakeR00 lol

  • they use sticks to scare enemies too

  • diferent types of tools are You joking me that was a reed that was shreaded and a stick. Wow these people are slow there are No tools there sticks Wow just Wow. Idoubt the chimp made it a brush, what do you think is going to happen when you constantly jaw a reed stick into a dirt hole its going to get fraied.

  • @coolvideo28 Did you even watch the video?

  • @coolvideo28

And what do you think humans used 10000+ years ago?

  • i wonder how many million years it will take for chimps to evolve into something like humans, because it's plainly obvious it'll happen.

  • This is actually about "Studying history, studying our ancestors behave"

  • 1:29 shes got cocaine on her laptop lol

  • THAT'S SO FUCKIN CUTE

  • hahaha @ 1:25 theres smoke everywere and they looked baked

  • lol 1:49 an ant running across the laptop

  • 0:55 "How do you turn this thing ON...??? I think it's broken."

"Somebody call the repairchimp with the tool."

  • 0:54

    "Hello!" lol

  • creationists are now covering their eyes

  • @dreamy2 why would we? i think its cool but it is in no way pro or anti darwin, it just is.

  • whoa whoa whoa there. Monsanto has a patent on the brush-end method...calling lawyers

jokes aside, that is interesting thanks for sharing 5*s!

  • Those termites look delicious

  • Tired of termite tools that don't do the job right? You need the SuperTermite Brush, with specially designed ends, they give you ten times the termites with every poke. Available at a jungle near you. On special this month for just 3 bananas.

  • Lmao! I can see a billy mays chimpanzee selling that :)

  • Yes, I can see those bananas rolling in now.

  • humans, apes, whats the difference really apart from evolution we have the same brain and we look similar to eachother

  • You look similar to an ape?

  • we look similar in eth way we move and our expressions, dotn be a dik yeah

  • If you had to mate with one animal, which would it be?

  • unicorn

  • It would be the orang utan. They're UBER strong, very intelligent, patient and friendly, too.

  • ants :D

  • a whale

  • a human. DUH. we are animals, and you didn't exclude humans.

  • a tiger

  • JLO

  • how about with a human? =D

  • He is an ape... so are you...and I... sheesh!

  • "No one has filmed this before"?

Jane Goodall and her team did

  • I think they were referring to the multiple steps involved. I've seen Goodall's original footage in an IMAX special, and she does show the "fishing rod" step, but the extra step of the "shovel" or "digger" wasn't in there (or at least as much as I've seen), which is what I think they were getting at.

  • meh

  • I LUV JANE GOODALL SHES MY HERO

  • Jane Goodall got some of the best footage I have ever seen.

  • I read the info part and that's exactlly what Louis Leakey said. GREAT VID!
