Hiya =) it's a gold paint that came with a caligraphy kit i bought from COSTCO wholesale a long time ago...but you could just use any gold acryclic paint and it would work just the same =) hope this helped you ^_^

just try to find some gold caligraphy paints in your local craft store or a diff brand of acrylic paint a thicker one =) take care hun

wow this is great! is that gold actually gold paint for canvas's? i didn't even know u could do that.. very creative!

Thanks ^_^, yeah i used caligraphy paint actually because the gold color was very saturated more so then the gold nail polish...it would have shown up sheer over the red and not give the effect i wanted. But it chips off really easily so its not really something i reccommend =)
