Nice performance, but a bit too fast for my likings. A more consistent tempo, taking care to bring out the melodic parts, slightly slower with more sensitivity would bring out the true beauty of this piece.
It's interesting that there's another youtube version of this that comes in over 6 minutes, and it didn't seem particularly slow, you must really be going at breakneck speed.
i don't like the big fluctuations in tempo (especially 1:42) , but the melody came out really well during 1:51. When i played this, i had a hard time getting the melody out with all the dissonant notes. so yea, great performance, but play only as fast as you can play the last page. The great contrasts in tempo make you sound like you can't play some of the parts.

too fast for my taste but there's a lot of disagreement on how fast this movement goes. the main problem here is an awful piano. it sounds like it was rescued from a scrap yard
its not the piano that sounds awful... its the mic on the camera plus the reduce of quality on the video by youtube. I bet that if you heard it live, it will sound way way better.
i am playing this right now and i love this piece... but i think you are playing it a bit too fast?!? this sonata is supposed to be at a quick tempo but not too fast.
bravo! i played this in high school --- fun to play. you did play it too fast to my ear, especially in the 6/8 part, but it was passionate, and i enjoyed it. i had a hard time with note accuracy at the ending, and you did pretty well there. Good job!

Great! But yes, sometimes it was just too fast for you. Choose a tempo that's comfortable for you or just practice more on some points

a bit of both maybe. i think you can always tell when a piano is 'twangy' and flat even if it is filtered through lousy microphone technology

its not the piano that sounds awful... its the mic on the camera plus the reduce of quality on the video by youtube. I bet that if you heard it live, it will sound way way better.

I played it in high school.This is my favorite sonata for piano. It is allegro moderato,but I don't think that you play it too fast. Good job!
