You people are so judgemental. Stop grading it on graphics! This game has incredibly good gameplay. Compared to NHL 10 or 11, it has better gameplay. In Ea's the line changes, goals, and arenas are very unrealistic. I don't think this game is worth $60, but it is worth $20-$30. GET OVER THE GRAPHICS, ITS NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING!

just rented this game out of curiosity (already own nhl 10) and although i prefer nhl 10 by far, there are certain things that EA could learn from this game, for example, the winter classic stadiums and the attention to detail in each team's home rink that actually distinguish them from one another, also the fact that in create a team the vintage teams's logos and colors are available for use, overall though, i would not pay full price to buy this game

A lot of people think speed boost in a hockey game is fake, Well actually its not. The speed in NHL10 is all out of whack, When skaters are on a breakaway they do speed up and when they are pushing the offensive zone they go faster so 2k has the speed down even if the skaters don't skate properly. I think NHl10 would be better with a speed boost or something along the lines.

Terrible. The commentary is gaaaayy.. horrible! I will say the presentation, intro, faceoffs and little things like that are nicer over EA's game, but the actual game is better on EA's end.
