  • Rubbish...who cares that this thing has done a ton of miles on a rolling road. I mean its great for R&D but it compares NOT AT ALL to a million miles on the road. They have pulled out almost all the variables by doing that.

  • Propaganda ! Never Ever Believe whatever you saw and hear. Even look can be deceived...

i don't like BMW, its garbage iron

  • Our company borrowed this car from Exxon Mobil recently and I drove this car from Southampton to London to be shown in a show, I can clarified that this car is going very strong. The only thing that doesn't work is the radio.

  • I have a 1979 corolla with a 4 speed manual and a 1.3 leaded 4 cylinder and it has done 1336000 kilometers and with the log book it has has 1 engine rebuild and 9 services and still got a lot more in it . I want to set a world record in this car but i can not find a record for the worlds most amount of kilometers or miles ever done in history . I am so sure my toyota corolla can do it , so can someone help me with a record i can reset .

  • yeah, the steering's great since it was run on a dyno and probably hasnt run more than a couple hundred road miles, and the engine wear is within new specs because the engine was probably never run cold, when the oil is thick and pretty much all the engine wear occurs.

You would probably get a similar result running any other run of the mill oil, they probably could've gone longer on each oil change too since the conditions were perfect.

  • @advertisehere Wish I could thumbs up more than once.

  • BMW reccomends Castrol... haha

  • Lol @ 0 MPG

  • that is amazing, i wonder it has FSH

its a shame it hasnt done the mileage on the road, but saying that, it would of most likely rusted.

imagine a modern vehicle. It could easy do 3 times that much

also, how come they didnt show us the milometer on the dash?

  • @joewarcupinhull That car is now registered in the UK and has done 40000 miles since this test.

  • @joewarcupinhull because it would read 000000 after a million it just resets it self because there are no more digits

  • I love things like this! Give us some more info about it.

  • If it was driven like a normal car so its stopping and starting constantly the engine wouldnt be soo strong.
