This is not fake. It's a standing ab wheel rollout and it is clear from the video, despite the crappy auto-focus, each rep is different. You can also tell its real since if you've ever tried one yourself or watched it done, you would know the form required (pelvis tilted backwards to help maintain a flat back. At no point can the back be allowed to dip/concave).
The video isn't looped you faggots. You can see minute differences in each rep. For example, the wheel stays in contact with floor completely on pretty much every rep except at 0:30 and 0:39. Don't be surprised to see an Asian kid performing feats of strength.
You are cool, aikibujin! I saw in Jackie Chan did this in his movie, but I thought it was hard to do. I'm going to do it too :D))) Thanks for sharing.
@brayden12345 You saw the video, but didnt pay atention. This is really because of the autofocus. Sometimes the whell doesnt touch the floor, and when he "cames back", sometimes he goes further than others. Just pay atention.
@brayden12345 forgive me aikibujin, i wrote this comment 11 months ago, back when i could only do 20 kneeling roll outs. i can now do 3 standing roll outs, and i appreciate your feat of strength. at the time it just seemed so perfect that the camera would blurr at each rep in a super hard workout.
WOW!!!! im an elite university athlete and our team does this excercise from our knees, and its excruciating!!! ... what ur doing is very impressive!!!
good job! Back can't be too straight.. else you'll injure your spine when you go all the way down. Core has to be very tense, to protect the back from caving in when you stretched out.. In my opinion, this is one of the best core workouts, along with the V-sits used by gymnast
These are supposed to be done with a round back, if you do it with a stright back wen your rolling it back in, imence pressure is being put on your back!!!! No lie

My father is the King of the ab wheel. He used to do hundreds from the feet. Now at the age of 64 he can only do around 70. Is there anyone out there tat can do atleast 30 reps. If so I would really like to see this. If there is someone else other than my father that can do this I would really like to know.
well, keep it up! I'm just starting from square one. I wish I'd found this sooner, I prefer it greatly to crunches. I don't know why but I love this and I hate crunches.
Yeah crunches aren't really all that effective in building core strength. Keep up the training and good luck, I bet you'll be able to do this in no time!
That is some AMAZING form man. Wow! Listen, I just bought mine. I'm just starting out with it, about the same body type as yourself, but never used a wheel. A beginner. Give me a good workout plan that gets me to where you are with it. Thanks!
Thanks man. But I really don't know what kind of advice I can offer. Like I mentioned in a previous comment I never specifically trained for the ab wheel. I'm a rock climber, and I was doing a lot of bouldering on overhangs, my core strength increased a lot simply from that. When I first started climbing my friend showed me an exercise called the front lever, and I wasn't able to do it. After a few months of climbing, one day I decided to try the front lever again and I was able to do it easily.
You need to hold body tension when doing it while standing. If you can't do it, you need to have stronger core strength. Try working up to it gradually.
Yeah no worries mate....personally I think it's the safest way to do it....I also think that exercise is personal and should be done on an individual basis, for instants the way I do things may not work for you but that doesn't mean your doing it wrong.
Thanks for the concern. I also curve my body when I do this exercise kneeing, I have given my reason previously. If you have any logical reason support your advice I'll gladly listen. Otherwise I refrain from taking unsupported advice on the Internet.
a few people have written to ask me how i trained to do this. i'm sorry to say i'm not the best person to ask that question, because i've never trained just to do this exercise. one day i bought an ab wheel from wal-mart and found out that i could do it. i think it was the result of half a year bouldering (rock climbing) on overhanging walls that developed my core strength. there are excellent sources of information elsewhere, i refer you to those for training tips. good luck!
yep i always curve my body inwards when i do this exercise, to keep from hurting my back. when i first started doing this exercise my back used to round upwards when i tried to drop down too low to the ground, that placed too much strain on my back so i decided never to do that again.

Do leg raises help you build the lower ab strength to do these standing?
aks73 3 years ago
so many retards in this comments saying "BAD FORM! KEEP YOUR BACK STRAIGHT!" stfu. these kids probably can't even do 1 with their knees on the floor.
Good job dude, you showed this kids how to do ab roller.
For the retards: you're suppose to keep your back like this dude throughout the motion if you don't want to seriously hurt your lower back.

how can you do that? thats the most impossible thing to do!

Re: shallowcal4911
Are you combining drugs with household cleaning solutions?
Let's put this issue to rest.
He is not arching!
He is "hollowing" his chest and "rounding" his back!
Arch=Extension.
Hollow=Flexion.
Extension=Bad.
Flexion=Good.
Done!

Re: Nibla696
You are a moron.
It's better, safer, and harder to keep ones thoracic spine rounded like that. (flexion)
Arching one's back by collapsing is dangerous. (extension)
This guy exhibits perfect form.
By the way, did I mention you were a moron?
