  • Everything about this band is a bad joke about how shit modern music is.

  • Joshua Joshua

    Rhys Rhys

    Faris Faris

    Tom Tom

    Joe Joe!!!

    Awwwww I love you!!!!

  • este es el the horrors ke me gusta no el de ahorita :/

  • haha i love rhys in this ... so funny !!

  • Theres the Nick Cave influence

  • Thank God, they changed from this "haunted house" gimmicky thing to their new mature psychedelic/spiritual-esque sound. theyre music has a so much more artistic and rewarding listen.

  • @mahavishnuxc so what part of their new music is mature psychedelic etc ? none , nil , zero , its out and out pop. And its pretty crap pop to

  • @numbnutone you obviously know very little about music genres, or havent heard Skying.

  • @mahavishnuxc what the heck is skying ? iv got more pairs of jeans than you will ever own, guvnor

  • @numbnutone Skying would be their third album, released in 2011. And i have 3 pairs of jeans and the fact that you own more doesnt bother me in the slightest bit.

  • @mahavishnuxc ohhhhh yessssss it doesssssss

  • Rhys' crabwalk at 0:38 was just bizarre :S

  • sex

  • These guys remind me of the mighty boosh...

  • @ICHBINSTEPH I was about to post exactly the same comment! They are a musical version!

  • absolutely crap live, love this band but this is so terribly horrific.

  • @weeErinSweet09 lol I think you're missing the point of garage and punk

  • como los amaba <3

pero ahora son una vil mamada

  • @erey619z por que una vil mamada???

  • @jacel67 haz escuchado su ultimo disco?

    me gustaban antes

    hoy no son nada

  • @erey619z

You, sir, are a "vil mamada".

  • @erey619z Siguen siendo geniales, solo que la gente no sabe aceptar una evolucion, si siguieran asi, entonces seguro dirias, son una vil mamada , por que siempre suenan igual :/

  • Sven Blood Axe get's my vote.

  • he moves like Arucard

  • 1.32 clockwork orange

  • did the mighty boosh or the white stripes send anyone else here?

  • @aerlingus18 Both =D

  • Someone listens to Nick Cave...haha

  • love how they used to be rough

  • this sucks.

  • @crustykyle whatever you say dickhead xD

  • @crustykyle grow up mate, whats the point of that comment, the horrors are so refreshing, no doubt ur into kewl hip hop and such.

  • Faris: "WHO'S YOUR FAVORITE VIKING?"

    Norwegian Audience: :-0

    Faris: "........WHO'S YOUR FAVORITE VIKING?"

    Nowegian Audience: ????

    Faris:(awkward mumbling)

  • Love how Rhys does a super fast grapevine @0:38

  • @TheViolentDreams Sneaky Rhys is sneaky lol.

  • This is so obviously an ode and sequel to 'saucy jack' by the beloved 'spinal tap' watch?v=6Bytig-oavY

  • @PaintedTeleportation You could check out the band the Horrors are most trying to imitate here, viz the Birthday Party.

  • oo I still remember when I was an emo XD

  • I still really miss the band when they were like this...I still love them...and they're awesome...but I prefer this look to the one they have now...plus I miss Rhys being on the keyboard

  • screaming lord sutch :)

  • oh yea between this first tour and the second...just a sad downward transgression. Oh to be popular.

  • i loved them until they completely pussed out. Sad sad sad.

  • @janetjesse1 Pussed out? they went from walking joke to highly-regarded alternative act in one album. And you think they "pussed out"? why, because they're not making the kind of music you prefer anymore? that's entirely up to them. Switching genres does not mean a band has objectively gotten "worse" nor does it mean that they've given up any integrity. It just means that they're not making music you like any more.

  • ripping off the cramps..thumbsdown dislike

  • @wheelworker1 more like scientists

  • i love all their new stuff, don't get me wrong. but i wish i could've seen them perform during this era ;_;

also rhys looks like he's eating the mic. haha.

  • lovely take on Screaming Lord Such's comedic hit

  • If you love The Horrors and Death From Above 1979 or even Joy Division check out The Deep Transition on here or facebook. You will love them I can assure you of that !

  • i was on this concert, only time ive seen the horrors sadly. but it was one of the best live acts i have ever been to. so much energy on stage that you could taste it.

needless to say, i bought the album as soon as i got back home :3

  • @Knudthebrute Yeah I saw them for Primary Colours and last month for Skying and of course they were amazing and nice everytime, but yeah that's really cool that you saw them then.

  • Comment removed

  • Check out The Deep Transition on Facebook. They are very similar to this. They need fans. They are going to explode into the music scene really fast

  • Forever a Horror.

  • saucy jack, you're a naughty one. saucy jack, you're a haughty one

  • joshua hayward i think i'm in love with you

  • @PaintedTeleportation no problem :D

  • 0:38 Lol

  • @PaintedTeleportation you could try the fuzztones :L

  • my favorate viking is thor :D

  • mMMMMM Josh.

  • Faris's voice = SMEXY!!!

  • @PaintedTeleportation Check out the Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster.

  • @PaintedTeleportation Yes, I guess hardcore is not the correct label, and obviously I don't think they're 'hardcore'; I mean, MGMT sound is like more soft. Referring to this song

  • @PaintedTeleportation They're not very similar to MGMT... The Horrors are like more... hardcore xD (referring to this song)

  • @PaintedTeleportation I am well aware of that song. I suppose the end of it sounds a bit like this, but just because of one song I wouldn't really call the two bands similar. When you look at songs like "Siberian Breaks" or "Someone's Missing", the styles are completely different than even the Horrors newest stuff.

  • @PaintedTeleportation Just out of curiosity, how do you find this even remotely similar to MGMT?

  • @TheMongish They are nothing alike MGMT and the Horrors are so different XD

    I love MGMT btw :)

  • 1:29 baBa xD

  • I prefer this to the recorded album version, maybe because of Joshua's dancing..

  • does he say "who's your favorite viking?" cause they're in Norway?

  • does he say "who's your favorite viking?" cause they're in Norway?

    ...what?

  • When I grow up, I want to be the Horrors.

  • i <3 joshua :)

  • oh my god, a cover of The White Stripes. Yes.

  • @JoshuaRFox Wrong. "Jack the Ripper" is a 1960s song by Screaming Lord Sutch. It's been a popular cover for garage-influenced bands, notably the White Stripes, The Black Lips, The Horrors, The Gruesomes, The Fuzztones, etc., etc.

  • @RaygunShaun Yeah i know, i double checked that myself the second i put that down, nice use of wikipedia though.

  • @JoshuaRFox Didn't use Wikipedia. Just love garage rock too much.

  • the fuzztones

  • wooow

    the horrors

    awesome!

    like much

  • This is about as enjoyable as eating a shit sanwich

  • awww! joshua's little dance <3

  • this is when they were good not this new wave indie bs. damn hipsters

  • I love how enthusiastic Rhys during live performances. C:

  • look at that footwork!

  • @eDu4rDo51996 Yeah, but more Montgomery Clift than Clark Gable I think.

  • this music was composed by henry mancini 50 years ago and is called "peter gunn theme".

  • @lazlocarreidas Yep, grafted on to Screaming Lord Sutch

  • whaaa ? theyre not emo not goth or anything ! theyre just the horrors

  • they remind me to nick cave & the birthday party

  • i'm diggin the new horrors more, the old horrors is too hot topic status

  • The Horrors are a whole LOAD...... Of smexii peoplez ;3 Xx <3

  • God I wish I could if seen them in the strange house era

  • The White Stripes version is better, i think

  • @punkdava - I have to agree Jacky whites version is awesome!

  • @anto316 Jack Whites voice is just incredible

  • Drool at 1:27 lol

  • @AreteAbsence more like 1:32

  • @panca00 he is near in this song, in other songs - even closer

  • you definitely never heard of The Birthday Party...

  • he tries to sound like Ian so much it makes me sad

  • @mosqquitonarium I hope you're not talking about Ian CURTIS. Because 1. this song isn't even by Joy Division. And 2. He really doesn't...at all...

  • Faris is INSANE

  • Jack The Ripper!!!

    Jack The Ripper!!!

  • Joy Division : The Horrors :: Steak : Spam

  • I adore the Horrors. <3

This live version is amazing. xD

  • I'll stick to Casey Jones & the Governors or Screaming Lord Scutch's rendition.

  • I saw these guys last year...they are SO different...I miss this version of them so much

  • is gay and shit

  • @putrided constructive haha

  • @putrided maybe, but not so much as you are ;-)

  • Oh my days I love love love this song so much! Amazing band love them <3 x

  • The Cramps are far better!

  • @ wlittlesailor: I think this band is more akin to the Birthday Party.

  • I ♥ THE HORRORS (:

  • i think this is, in a way better than the album version

  • Haha

  • The original of Screamin' Lord Sutch is far much better..!

  • @tauroscorp The orignal of this version always sounds, to me, like it was recorded by a band that had heard the Sutch version once about a year before they recorded there's.

  • ohhh is very very very sexy

    rhys i love

  • They're like BRMC... a band who have a great following, and still manage to stay under the radar... but never quite 'made it'. I think they're just happy with that though... putting on great shows.

  • he sings in deeps like Ian Curtis with distorsion :)

  • Wooah, they are no where NEAR emo. Maybe goth, but not emo. They are based on 60's garage punk.

  • @MariaShowScenes Thank you! At last someone see's there 'inspiration'! I saw them supporting The Sonics a few years back.

There new tune however 'Still Life' sounds like they have been listening to Simple Minds alot recently. A big shift musically...

  • @MariaShowScenes The biggest difference is Emo sucks. This rocks.

  • @MariaShowScenes like birthday party?

  • @midiilala ehhh, more like wire, there is only one nick cave and this is no Birthday Party ensemble

  • @MariaShowScenes They're a deathly blend of shoegaze "noise pop" and Deathrock. It's glorious. <3

  • @Riveripple thanks :)

  • The Horrors are awesome :)

and could people check bands out before they write them off as emo. u r offended wen someone calls one of ur fav bands emo, so y wouldn't someone else be offended wen u call one of their fav bands emo. eejits. u don't have to like the band, just don't label them something they're not.

  • @iamthegirlwithredbow I couldn't agree with you more. Can't people like not click on their videos if they dislike their music or ""image""

  • It's like a mixture of The Birthday Party and the Cramps' Garage Rock . . . I dig this stuff!

  • @infernus666Horror Black Veil Brides arent emos lol they are.... Gothic looking just like the horrors used to be :)

  • That guitar sound at 0:40? ripped straight from the hands of Rowland S. Howard.

  • @TheRD92 and he got it from Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music and Link Wray. What's your point?

  • they are not emos !!! Emos= BMTH= Black veil brides.. they are fucking emos ;)

  • only the horrors play a song that sends chills down your spine while bubbles float by 'em haha <3

  • Faris: "oh fuck here comes that bloody scream again... Shit he's getting right up to the microphone this time... Double shit I don't have my ear plugs.. -jab fingers in ears-

    Josh: '"YEEAAAAAAARRHHHHH"

  • posers !

  • this is fucking gay haha..

  • I miss these guys...I saw them live last year they're so much different now than they were in this video...unfortunately

  • The live version is better than the Cd version

  • @JoeyfreakyCactus I agree with you there

  • who's your favorite viking?

  • I just made a wee watching this. they are so epic <3 <3 <3

  • Wasn't this originally done by Screamin' Lord Sutch?

  • @misterdesade Yes

  • I love this band so fucking much, damn. Even now, but I prefered their lives performances then.

  • Saw them by accident once. Torture.

  • no, this is a Screaming Lord Sutch cover, the original is from 1964!

  • Is this a Cramps cover?

  • from the gruesomes
