  • oh my god, i've seen a ton of tutorials on weaving and this is by far the best i've ever seen lol. usually you cant see what the hell the people are doing with what strings because they like to pick a black shirt or the camera is at weird angle or too far away. but i love how clean and simple your drawings are :). every step is shown and explained thoroughly :D. thank you so much!

I wanted to copy the kind of designs I see on a girl who appears in a TV show and I found your videos and now I can do much more things than her! I've just seen two of them, but I'm sure I'm gonna spend the whole afternoon watching them, learning, and then practicing with my old shirts. Now I'm gonna wear the most original shirt in my university, hahaha, thank you so much!

I've been really into screen printing lately and I was thinking about starting a small clothing line because they've been turning out really cute, but I was getting tired of printing on basic v-neck tees and tank tops. • Giiirl, you are fantastic :)

  • thanks this helped alot :]

  • This video was very helpful! Thank you!

  • instead of having the pieces of fabric and the cut out spaces go in straight lines, the fabric comes to cross like an X with the loops going down the center. just make sure you cut enough strips so that the last one is the final strip so it ties ok when youre done. :)

  • hey just an idea. on the twisting weave that goes down the middle, instead of going in order going from the top down, you can start from the top, pull in the third and twist it to make the loop, then pull in the second that you skipped. and keep going. skip one then go back.

  • I was just wondering, do you wash your shirts? does it ruin it? does the fabric lining come off?

  • Thank you for making it easy to understand!

  • Wow this is amazing you did an excellent job and the steps are great .....love the video

  • I haven't seen the twisting weave before. I'll have to try that :3

  • @salinabear np :) ohh and sry about the missing letters lol i think its about time for a new laptop lol

  • The knots are the hardest haha D:

  • @missash70 lol yeah! try using tweezers

  • Great demonstration video, thanks.

  • @Thefiftieschick Thanks!

  • you should have showed pics of wat it looked like at the end

  • @annagizzygirl You can watch my other videos to see it in action!

  • is there a possibility that sumone weaves the twisted weave technique , THEN try weaving normally on one side of the twisted weave?

  • @alicechu009 That sounds very possible! I think I've seen Adam Saaks do that on shirts before but I haven't tried it yet! Go for it!

  • Theres a reason that nobody dislikes this vid, you explain so well and simple that it is impossible to not understand it ! :-)

  • @MissZofiee Haha, I didn't notice!! That's awesome, thanks hehe

  • these r sooo cool, where did u learn them! i am definetly(? ^.^) trying this lol. TY!!!!

  • When i do this the very botton part under where you tie it is saggy and hangs down, how do i make it so that is tight and doesnt do that

  • @cmgraffam try adding in a second weave (of the same kind or opposite kind) that should help tighten up the strings

  • Thanks so much for this tutorial... I only have one question... When I tie the ends, you always seem to see the knots. How do you do it, so it looks invisible? Thanks for yr answer,...

  • @Riani83 Hmm do you tie it the same way I show in the video? If the strings are relatively thin, and you just do a simple knot, it shouldn't be that noticeable.

  • The best and the cleariest tutorial I've ever seen!

    Thank you very much!

  • @55Pietras Thank you!

  • @55Pietras ikr?

  • @TheDeasy123 Hehe thanks!

  • does the t shirt threads get unbraided or ruined after u cut them though?

  • @ekclove Mine are fine still! Just be gentle with them

  • this is so much easier to comprehend lol!

  • @SweeterThanPinkCandy haha yay!

  • very helpful :D

    great job.

  • @BR33ZYF0SH33ZY Thank you!

  • thanks so much i finally understand now

  • @SpyderT22 haha awesome

  • @PlumBlossomBeauty Thanks :D Thanks for watching!

  • That's so awesome. I love the way u showd it!!!

  • @gloriarodri79 Thanks!!

  • This is so easy, thanks so much for uploading this video!

  • @1so9 No prob! thanks for watching :D please sub!

  • @salinabear I do have a question, are there specific clothing materials that can be weaved or does it apply to all? Because I think that if you cut a material made of cotton, for example, it could rip up further along the cut upon stretching. Is that so? Please let me know which materials this technique applies to, thanks!

  • @1so9 It should be all kinds but I haven't tried all kinds lol. I usually use something cotton. If it's a thicker cotton, I'm able to cut strips thinner, but if it's a thinner material, I have to be careful to leave enough room inbetween. It doesn't rip tho!

  • This helped sooooo much thanks Amazing work!!!!

  • SWEEEEET THANKS!!!

  • Your tutorials are AMAZING!!! Thank you so much! :)

  • would it work if i did the basic weave, and then the twisting weave? like do both on the same shirt?

  • @subdkvgs22 For sure! you can do both. My other video, "Cut up the Front" shows me doing both weaves on the front of my t-shirt
