Thats Australian cars for ya they are mad! In australia we have very strict restrictions on our provisional liscences and im not allowed to drive a car with 7 or more cylinders or over 200KW of power it sucks but my V6 commodore does just fine, it even looks the same. Why not import one if you want it?

problem hear is its a gay arse auto, 6 speed even in the ls1 with the right driver could see low 4s 0-100 i remember being in a vt ss 5.7ltr with 2 mates and and 1 of them tromped it at 60k and it stepped out, lucky he knew how to control a car

your car have a cam shaft installed in it...no way you can get the rpm near 6 in 4th gear with out cam shaft..you are talking about nearly 300km..and its the old one..5.7L..at least it have ("cheater" camshaft)..no one will know from its sound..loool
