Not very amazing. He's just very quickly tapping the hot metal. I've done similar feats by accident while cooking, brushing up against hot pans. In the split second of contact, not much heat can be conducted. Hot grease, on the other hand, stays on your skin and burns the crap out of you. (I know this from experience too...)

2. Its not meant for the public to know.
3. They know the theory but can't demonstrate it (they are talkers & not walkers).

Actually it is possible for one to be given supernatural abilities from negative entities. There is much written about this, I 've had an encounter with this myself.
