I have one of these, I wish I would have waited on my netbook purchase since now they are cheaper, have larger screens and longer battery life but I would defiantly buy a Acer again, they are pretty nice

I have a Gaming Desktop with Intel Pentium D (2 Cores) 2.8Ghz, 1.5GB of RAM, 320GB SATA HD and believe me it takes more time to boot than my Acer Aspire One (First Generation) Atom CPU 1GB of RAM, 160GB HD, these little netbooks are fast and they use very little electricity, be aware of new models coming soon with NVidia ION2 Graphics, 10 Hours of Battery Life, excelent for games. I'll be buying one of these

Would this laptop be fast enough etc to use to camchat websites which are always downloading data etc? Or would it struggle with it?

@NickShortWarning should do ok for something such as skype video chat as long as your not running any outer apps, if your a performer on an adult webcam service or a customer who like to have the performers watch you jack off it would depend how well there software is optimized but it should do fine

I bought the 120gb version with 3-cell battery, and returned it for the 160gb 6-cell battery version of Acer Aspire One + has better built in WebCam, all this for only $30 dollars more!! I love this little thing!!!! + Last over 6 hours NOW!! Don't know how I lived without it! Prefer this over bigger laptops anyday!

Best Netbook til now....

120Gb is the best! The only problem is the battery...

Watching videos, it lasts only 02hours.....

But it has a very reasonable capacity for a netbook...

Monitor is 8,9 inch, for me it's big enough. No, it doesn't have a cd drive. Performance is very good. I don' t know Fortran, music is very good and e-mail/youtube works perfectly of course.

Got mine at Costco (2yrs free tech supt. for members) for $349!

I thought I might get buyer's remorse but once I put a few little goodies on (Avast, Firefox, OpenOffice, DiVX codec) and took some of the crapware off (MSOffice, McAfee) it was spinning like a top!

My next project is to take advantage of that nice fat 120gb HDD (real world 100) and put Mandriva or Ubuntu.

Of course, that means I'll have to steal it back from my girlfriend. She hasn't let go of the thing!

I am here on YouTube with my new Acer Aspire ONE 150 netbook. Fine little one, but it is just used beside my normal notebook... VERY CHEAP aND LIGHT WEIGHT i love the design too... as said it is a NETBOOK so dont tell my that u cant play cs:s or stuff couse it isn't meant 2. I also have the 100 with 8 GB and 512 MB DDR xD

But... i am giving it to my sister as a birthday gift. :D
