Very interesting but tragic story, I live just 20 miles away from the grave and had recently learned about Kitty Jay, have payed a few vigil visits since.
I was born & raised in devon not far from dartmoor,& ive seen many people putting flowers on the grave out of respect its no mystery. In my opinion all this is just a way to bring tourists in.
Hmmm...It's a romantic story, but I think it's hidden camera time. It's such a isolated area no human would be caught placing the plants on the grave.
I think it's telling that the flowers did not start appearing until after James Bryant 1:45 placed the headstone/footstone on the grave. Seems if the plants were paranormally appearing they would not need markers. That sounds more like a human necessity.
Nice video, informative. I was actually in the area a couple years ago, and must have passed by fairly close, coming from Dartmoor NP. I picked up a little book "Ghosts of Devon", but only after I got home did I learn how close I'd been. Just goes to show, don't wait 'til you get home to read up on these things!
Beautiful & haunting landscape in Devon, and so full of ghosts and legends. Thanks for posting, GhostWatching!
I think it's very interesting, maybe they could install one of those webcams and have it hooked up to a site, so that people can watch it from all over! Like the Leprechaun webcams, or the ghost cams from The Willard Library here in America
Put up a camera and record 24 hours a day until you see what you need to see.

Been there, foggy at that time, rocks and sheep in the road, fog's so thick you don't see them until you're five feet away, fresh flowers though.

I've been there I have, with a lady nurse friend of mine. It is sad, tragic and romantic. Bless her poor heart.

So the flowers have been showing up on her grave for well over a century? That beats the Poe toaster!

The psychic's a bit of a goof I'm sorry to say...he has a local accent, so he obviously knows the story of this grave.

I enjoyed this video-- though I wasn't sure why they thought the house would be connected to the grave at all...

They must've truly cared for her to keep her memory alive through oral tradition and by trying to prevent the devil from getting her soul...
It's nice that Mr. Bryant had the headstone and footstones built for her.
What a lovely, warm home.
Thank you, GhostWatching!!
P.S. I laughed so hard that you cut out the psychiatrist!

All these videos lead me to (erroneously) believe that ghost hunter/conversationist/portraitist is a booming industry in the United Kingdom.

Interesting video! Whoever is leaving the flowers on her grave(whether from this world or the next) at least she's being remembered by someone.
