i believe the only reason the U.S gets so much heat is because it's this era's country to hate on. Think about it, during the cold war everybody was taking sides, either in the name of democracy or Communism or in other words the US and the USSR. and if you go back farther everyone was taking sides with Nazi Germany or the allies. Ther Nazi Germans and USSR did basically, in some cases more radical versions, as america does today. But the US is the target because the other two are gone.

i believe the only reason the U.S gets so much heat is because it's this era's country to hate on. Think about it, during the cold war everybody was taking sides, either in the name of democracy or Communism or in other words the US and the USSR. and if you go back farther everyone was taking sides with Nazi Germany or the allies. Ther Nazi Germans and USSR did basically, in some cases more radical versions, as america does today. But the US is the target because the other two are gone.

@MajorWolfenstein As far as medicine goes, the only reason we have more is because more money is spent on it here. This touches back on commercialism. In a country that is essentially run by corporations, this should come as no surprise. However, many other countries have contributed quite a lot to medicine and I hear a lot more about breakthroughs in recent years from other countries rather than the US. To say we pioneer medicine is just not true. That would be Egyptians.

This simply reaffirms my initial statement about ignorant Americans. We spend WAY more than any other country in the world on education and they consistently outperform us. What does that tell you? When we look at a country, we're look at the majority as a whole rather than a small select portion.
