  • Hi Dilee and Anil,

Yopu are right. Those 4 lines made me to think that ONV is a gifted poet-VadakeJose-UK

  • i miss K S George

  • Thanks. I too was not aware the great song had a third stanza, perhaps the best of the lot. (Vayalin kinavukal...) Enjoyed every bit.

  • gud

  • Dear Gopetta, Very sensible and fine rendition! Valare nannaayi! Bhavukangal. Happy to see the good old music is carried further ahead by good hands like you!

Brings back the memoirs of Great KSG/Sulochana/Devarajan Mash/ONV team. Kudos for the complete song (vayalin kinaavukal...)

  • @dileepnarayanan

    Enjoyed reading your comments

  • valare santhosham sri kontrol99

  • Singing from the heart. Great diction. Malayalam in its full flavor.

Remember the days when people sat around the radio listening to these songs after a long days work in the field? Flickering kerosene lamp, wind playing with leaves and branches..

Listening to KG's singing can bring back the memories.. Be warned!

    Best Regards, Sir!

  • @kontrol99

You have expressed the feelings aptly

  • wow! really really liked this one. even though the style of singing is entirely different from original, this is also equally good. great!!

  • rare gems; uploading them is good gesture. thanx

  • Excellent! No word to express

  • ഗോപന്‍‌ജി വളരെ നന്നായി പാടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

  • valare valare nandi

  • nicely sung......

  • Outstanding lyrics from Vayalar!!!

  • So Soothing !! I like Gopan's singing from Doordarshan times ..

  • the last section is very rarely heard- 'vayalin kinaavukal..'. great lyrics, greatest music and great singing. very well reproduced, Mr.Gopan. All the best.

  • Lyrics: ONV, Music: Devarajan, Sung by K.S.George.

  • That is an excellent rendition.

Whose lines are those, btw...vayalar's I believe.

If my memory serves me right, I think this was sung by kamukara purushothaman. Your voice sounds younger(kamukara had more or less a sooper kudian's voice :^) but, don't get me wrong..fit enough(no pun intended) for this melancholy song.

  • Excellent-your memory and the comment as well. This is sung by K.S.George, a great singer. Kamukara had sung songs like AathmaVidyalayame, GangaaYamuna etc-never a kudiyan style, but a very respectable style!

  • Well sung Gopan ! I adore this song. It took me to a bygone era simple and melodius, far away from the mad, mad, materilistic world we currently live in. THANQ!
