walking in a waddle wonder land, theres only one chrissy waddle, one crissy waddle, walking along singing a song walking in a waddle wonder land!!!!!! 14 year old singing loud as fuck on kop end, then about 8 of us wanted to be chris waddle in park after wednesdays game, fetch them days back
ah the days when we used to retain possession. @3.01 Waddle doing the "no look" pass years before Ronaldinho made it popular. We lost to Bury 2-0 last night, it's a funny old game.
It's sad watching this and seeing what Wednesday have become. Still at least we have these memories of a side which didn't win as much as it should have but in terms of style and skill was as good as any in English football for much of the first half of the 90's.
I enjoyed watching this I am a spurs fan who practically became a wednesday fan when Chrissy joined you. He was my hero and still is. He was a one off and it takes you back to a different time in football seeing this footage. Players playing football for the love of the game, something missing nowadays. Theres only one chrissy waddle
Sheer class! Talkabout 'keepball' towards the end! I'll send West Ham a ball to let 'em know what one looks like! We got the p*g* at the weekend 19th Jan 2008......I was just wondering.....calm down..behave yerself boy!!!!!...those days are gone!!!
I was at the ground, seated in the East Stand lower along with all my friends which are west ham fans, you should have seen the looks that I got as i had my Sheff Wed home kit on.... boy does this bring back memories.. great post well done

Those were the days! I still go to all the matches now but we are rather poor im afraid.

Yeah we'd have beaten every Currnet Premiership side 40-50 nil with that team apart from Arsenal and that would have been a good game :)

i was at that game sat just behind the goal, i was only young but remembered it well, that was the day i learnt what football was.

Jesus, what a performance by Weds.
Waddle was almost un-English in the way he played.
The touch, flair and vision with which he played, not to mention the simple elegance, makes him look more like a French or Spanish player.
Oh and I have always thought Ginola and Giggs were merely inferior versions of Waddle.

i just love how effortless waddle made everything look. like a left footed beckham but better. shame he wasn't as successful as he could've been.

The best crop of English players today, Cole, Lampard, Rooney, Gerrard, they just bore me.
Waddle, a TRUE FLAIR player. A MAGICIAN, so
different from so many of the English players, who
are all about huffing and puffing.

Americans talking about football bores the fuck out of me.
