There are also 2 other brands of 8.1% : Evil Eye & Hurricane. I've seen RED EYE but that's like 12% & it gets you toasted after half a can! Expensive but damn that shit gets you fucked.

when I first started drinking, one 24oz is all it took. then I went to a 40oz and got fucked up every night until I went to two 24's, now I'm drinking 3 40oz every night.

@revilor234 You build up a tollerance for it after awhile, and the cops had the nerve to say I was swirving when I only drank two 40's and half of a 24 oz. of Four Loko. Virginia laws and the police are corrupt as hell. The .08 intoxication levels are an easy way for them to arrest innocent/ responsible drinkers who aren't even intoxicated because our tollerance levels are increased from frequent drinking. They're criminalizing alcohol consumption as if it were an illegal narcotic now days.

@yeahthrowingdownroc LOL!, I used to get fizucked up off just one 40 of Steel Reserve/211 like back in 2000, but you gotta take into account that they only have 8.1% alcohol per vol. & I've been drinkin' pretty much everyday since I was 22. I'm 33 now, still 150 lbs. & about 6'4 tall. so it takes more drinks for me to consume to even start to feel tipsy. I saw a lady buying 8 40 oz. bottles of Steel at once, cause she can no longer get a buzz from just 4 or 5. After awhile it'll take more.

All it really takes it quitting for 2 weeks or a month & tolerance will be back down. I quit for 6 months & it took me a single 12 oz can to get twisted.

@TheTortugaTanker True, I'm going to quit drinkin' 211 all together for awhile, I've noticed it no longer tastes as good as it used to & my blood pressure has gone up a bit from it. All it does it make me lag or get arrested and not wanna do shit but sit around the house and sleep all the time, :D

I believe the reason is that it's such a sweetened beer that it hikes your sugar levels. When you have high blood-sugar, you get lethargic. Even though it doesn't taste good, I don't believe it ever did. I mix mine with lemon, lime, or beer salts. It kills the carbonation & flavors it a bit while promoting me to later drink enough water to stay hydrated & avoid hangovers.
