Being a BIG FOOTEE fan i have watched soccer AM many times and yes know the song and agree its a great song but i write what is in my head - i dont try to emulate but thanks for your comments

Another with definite potential. The chorus is fine (with well-handled guitar work). I don't know how in love with your lyrics you are. For some, the lyric and tune are inseparable. In this case I'm thinking major surgery might be required. The lyrics aren't bad, they just don't grab. Not sure how well 'Mr Big Shot' might go over title wise. I'm just giving you the stuff as it occurs to me. I've no grudge whatsoever. I learn from stuff/people. I hope you continue as long as you like.

You see, most of my friends are Beatles fans, and, since I am a Beatles fan and I like it and you said the Beatles influenced you, I am sure they will love you. You did a really good job on this one.
