I got the Lantra 1.8 GLS, and that does over 100kmh in 2nd gear before hitting the red line. Doesn't have much torque, but has a surprising amount of high end power.

I wouldnt say high end power more good gear box ratio...

I have the same car man.I can't reach 100km/h in 2nd gear. Have you removed the rev limiter???
