  • abuse like this wouldn't destroy my 69 power wagon

  • i love the copy of boogie nights dirt diggler lol

  • Ram Power Wagon owns the raptor

  • chevy/gmc concepts better

  • As Usual,..Not as big a deal as everyone thought. FACT IS, Ford entered a $100,000 500 HP 4WD Raptor R (race version) in the 2008 Baja 1000 in the 2 wheel drive full size truck (Class 8) and came in 3rd in that class in 25 hrs & 28 minutes which just happens to be more than 45 minutes slower than the winner of Class 11 (Stock 1600cc VW Bug Sedan 24 hrs. and 46 minutes! ) and 6 hours slower than the winner of Class 5 (Stock 1600cc Baja Bugs, 18hrs & 22 minutes)

    Now Google: Raptor frames bend

  • @trjonez ok thats a tiny as bug no shit its going to be faster then a full size pickup

  • Dodge should make something like this with a 6.1 or the 6.4 liter Hemi. For Chevy, well a upgraded Corvette engine wouldnt hurt.

  • A dodge would do much better!

  • I personaly dont like fords they are imposibal to work on and they dot last pat 200000 miles. I am a toyota person. I would however sell my soul for the svt raptor it is the best pickup I have seen roll off a production line in years. Any chevy lover who disses this thing obviously is a dumbass who dosnt know anything about cars in general. They just have a boner for cheveys and a stick up there ass.

  • @Briandotmiller my dad has ford that has over 200,000 miles, soo they do last, Nice try:p

  • @wiseracing2 Well ya after any car can you just have to try extra hard with a ford its not uncomon knowlege that ford dosnt make the best moters period. The powerstroke disel is an alright engin but you can get the same power with an inline6 cylender cummins has the same powewr with better gas milage you dont need the v8. as for most of there gas engines its f o r d found on road dead

  • @Briandotmiller those motors are things of the past. ford has given their whole lineup of cars/trucks a makeover. As for the diesels ford makes 400hp not 350. you can only get 800LB FT torque with the H/O cummins. F O R D first on race day.

  • @Briandotmiller 1 million mile 5.4 ford look it up. died at 1.3 million miles. the old ford engine isnt that powerful, but it was extremely reliable. the new deisel engine has the ost power in its class. all ford truck sizes have best in class ratings in everything, including tow/haul, power, torque and fuel economy. F O R D Found Off Road Dominating

  • @Briandotmiller really? i have owned 2 ford that have had well over 200,000 on em and they drove and ran perfectly its just people dont take care of their fords cuz they are dumbasses that think that they are special and dont require reg maintanence like every car/truck needs, now if you dont maintain your vehicle of course it wont last over 200,000 and fords are a hell of alot easier to work on than anything else that i have worked on just you cant be a foreign car loving bitch

  • @Briandotmiller and i ran out of room to write but chevy owners do have stick up their ass

  • a lot of chevy ass clowns are seriously pissed their company can't make a truck to compete with this so they bash it.

  • @GR8PHD yea a 400hp baja ready truck is laughable, right? Fucking clown.

  • That heap is a fuckin joke. You FORD idiots abandoned the SVT LIGHTNING project for this? No wonder you lazy eyed fucks never get laid!?

  • @GR8PHD yeah, they should have stuck with the street racer style truck huh? nuthin like a truck that cant tow or haul shit, isnt very fast, cant handle and is more expensive than a faster, more practicle mustang that also has better gas mileage. becasue that is what trucks are known for, not going offroad right?

  • @GR8PHD oo ya trade a pos wanna be racing truck for a truck that is meant to do what it is suppose to do dude stfu

  • I n my honest opinion, Ford shines. Ford is the only American auto manufacturer that didn't take bailout money to stay afloat. Ford should have bought out the rest and put the nail in the coffin for good. When you chevy and dodge folks have your tailgate parties, I bet your using a ford product to cook your veggie burgers. ;)~

  • esta bien padre

  • abuse like this would DESTROY!!! a toyota tundra!!!

  • my jeep would out run that on an off road course

  • BAD ASS TRUCK! I would put it to good use!

  • help! what's the name of this song at 0:18???

  • The suspension look like a copy from those 90 to 95 toyota 4runner suspension...

  • رووووووووعه بس مو موجود بالسعوديه

  • this guy thinks hes jeremy clarkson, but hes not. so shut the fuck up and i dare you to chirp for again

  • awsome bad ass balls to the walls pick up i love my 2.3 litre ranger 500 miles to a tank 200 +thousand miles still running strong and toyota is gay along with all the other wanna bees my wifes chevy trail blazer 4.3 is a effn headachetraded it in 4 an elantra iwanted a frocus but fords r expensive with a shitty warrentee

  • that truck is a worthless pos.. its a heavy slow fuel guzzling piece of junk..not to mention ugly..SVT should stick to speed...and they obviously left that one out on this project

  • @rivired67 you don't buy a raptor for fuel economy. you buy it for dunes and off roading. and slow? the 6.2L 413hp 7.9s/0-60 for a 6000lb machine? not bad. its a raptor, not a lightning. you don't buy a corvette for fuel economy or for off roading, you dont get a prius for performance, you don't get an f-450 for speed. its a purpose-built truck.

  • @cfire600 Not a 6.2 yet. They said it might soon be an option. It's a 5.4. Moron.

  • @JoeyJokester11 where are you getting this, i was just looking at them the other day and under fords website for optional packages, there it is. 6.2L Engine Option. And look on here, ther're tons of videos of the 6.2 boss with pipes, headers, and other exhaust shit. so don't call me a moron.

  • @cfire600 Well..here's where I gotta say something. The corvette gets roughly 27 mpg on the freeway. As far as performance cars, that's pretty fucking good. No? I may dislike ford, but I will always backup the raptor. But if any company did this before ford, everybody would like it, no? They're the only so they're the best. It's pretty easy to be the best at something you're alone at (:

  • @chrisbmxhowto what about the ZR2 trucks? and as far as getting 27 mpg, that's not ALL corvettes. is it the C6, Z06, ZR1, which one? and the ZR2's were an off-road package, same as fords FX4 package. so people have tried to build an offroad truck, but haven't come nearly as close as the raptor. haha.

  • @cfire600 well, my dad's buddies zr1 gets pretty damn close to 27~28 mpg on the freeway, and my moms gets 29, it's an 04. Nothing special, stock corvette.

  • @chrisbmxhowto and they also don't weigh 6000 lbs. i can't remember what engine the ZR1 has, but i think it's pretty similar displacement to the boss raptor. ur comparing a 2500 lb corvette meant for the street that'll bottom out on a fuckin speed bump to a 6000 lb raptor that is meant for anything but the highway.

  • @cfire600 2500 lb corvette? where the hell do you find that at? and as for the other guy saying hemi sucks - more power comes with less mileage..

  • @chrisbmxhowto I don't know the exact numbers. just an approximate number. you get my point, though. Even then, my brothers '73 mustang with a 351 cleveland get's about the same mileage as the vette you were talkin about. Bu on any note, my point is still valid THE RAPTOR WASN'T BUILT FOR FUEL ECONOMY! It's a purpose built truck.

  • @chrisbmxhowto I don't understand why so many people who like chevy dislike ford and vise versa? I mean I used to be like that but now I mean I really have come to like Ford, GM, and Chrysler (also Chrysler is at the bottom of my list) I mean as an American we should be proud of our best. We have Ford creating our best trucks, Chevy with the ZR1, and both the Camaro and Mustang are improving to be some pretty badass cars. I mean I'm not judging but I think we should support all of our vehicles

  • @sergeantfunk52 your comment was kinda incorrect and more opinionated- chrysler should be at the top- i dont remember chrysler having rollovers and recalls, and last time i checked the SRT10 viper ran a 10.8 at 129 bone stock in the 1/4-something neither a z06 , Zr1 nor GT500 could do, and the 2011 ram HD beat both the 2011 heavy duty and super duty with over 30 less horses and 60 less ib ft of torque- as a respectable GM man you should appreciate chrysler more than any company. we gave you parts

  • @dddjjf Well it is my opinion that I don't really like Chrysler as much as Ford or GM but that doesn't mean that Chrysler doesn't come out with good vehicles. I really like the Dodge Ram, and I love how every Dodge with a V8 has tuned exhast to make the exhast note sound so perfect. But I just don't really mention Chrysler becuase of it's well known reputation for making unreliable cars. I mean my best friend owned a 300M and had to get the whole engine replaced at 60K miles.

  • @sergeantfunk52 ur right- my bad. and the v6 300 and charger are terrible. they run forever but have problems too early- but the high end mopars do gewd

  • @sergeantfunk52 I honestly have never owned a better truck then my chevy - and yes, I've owned fords. Yes the raptor is badass, but I'd pick any other chevy truck anyday. Just my opinion. Mustang's are nice cars, but IMO ford doesn't really have anything that sticks out like Chevy does. Out here, the only ford that turns any heads (stock) are the raptors. But I live in the desert. And Lol @ "Abuse like this" in the video. My 91 silverado's been through MUCH more then what they showed in video.

  • @chrisbmxhowto Don't completly agree with that, my Shelby GT turns lots of heads especially when I upgraded the exhaust! I had people at gas stations stopping to take pics of it.

  • @chrisbmxhowto Yeah man its all in opinion, I mean I havn't bought a truck yet ive only owned cars but my dad has a 97 F-150 that he beats the shit out of, and I have a friend with a 99 Silverado and I mean I think that they are both great vehicles. I mean you still see a ton of Chevys and Fords that are 20+ years old and still running fine. When I buy my next new car or truck it's gonna be Ford or Chevy for sure. The best American vehicles in my opinion.

  • @sergeantfunk52 Your right on, I might prefer ford but I don't dislike chevy's. I would die to have the new Camaro or vette. I have always had American made vehicles and I have not had any problems, especially the accelorating and running into shit! I really think the american auto industry has finally gotten a clue. Now if we can keep the execs from giving themselves big bonuses and the unions from bleeding them dry we can get back on top!

  • @Lovemyshelby08 Yeah thats exactly it too. I mean it's funny how toyota (what used to be the most reliable) is now crumbliing down on all of these bad reputations (just like the US auto industry in the 80's) But now the U.S. is making these new, better, and more reliable cars. And yeah Camaros and Vettes are sick! But I wouldn't put them past the Mustang or the Ford GT. Especially the history of the two cars are so incredible it just adds more greatness to them.

  • @cfire600 all this baby needs now is a twin turbo diesel engine with an 8 speed transmission then will perform and deliver decent fuel economy

  • You gotta test the 6.2!

  • Ford Raptor Forum .com

  • I just want to fucking drive this thing 100mph offroad!

  • This truck is almost $45,000 with all packages and $38,000 starting. You can pay $1050 25, $850 54, $600 72, months.

  • i had a reserve on this truck until i found out my payments were 842 dollars a month without finding what my insurance was gonna cost

  • nice a truck. nowww put it against the zr2 edition silverado its only got 550HP supercharged 6.2 no big no big lol. that would be an awsome competiton. i like this truck though nice job ford. thumbs up

  • @MrColexxx sorta looks like the zr2 would roll easy.

  • i own a 05 ford-150 with the the 5.4 and i well blow my tuck up if i can get that truck

  • i get 1 next month

  • my boss at work has one of these and its sooooooooooo nice

  • this truck is way overrated

  • Hey I like the "tonka like mud graphic"... Ass Hole!

  • what a nitpicky bunch of bullshit. edmunds inside is probably the worst site for a equal opinion on every ford vehicle

  • OMG I WANT

  • @crispycactus - I'm pretty sure anymore suspension travel than that would only result in more nody roll and would only be useful for hill climbing and mudding; neither of which this truck was made for. A waste of time and money? Doubtful.... try to build a truck that can compete with this one on your own and see what it will cost.

  • if you wanna look like a poser buy this truck because its a street queen and its doesnt have long travel retard its a mid travel truck 11 inches front and 12 rear wow big deal thats nothing waste of time and money to make this truck

  • @chrispycactus It's not about how many inches of travel you have its about how its engineered they can get away with that much travel and still be the best jumper out there because the shocks are set up properly to get progressively stiffer as you approach bottom so its virtually impossible to bottom out .

More travel would completely hinder the truck from all other purposes if you want more travel get a four link setup but your truck isn't going to be good for nothing but jumping!

  • Agree with italianbro225. They have one sitting one at my cousins dealership and I can't help but stare every time I drive by.

  • Dont like ford too much but this truck is awsome.. This thing got baja 1000 writin all over it. ^^

  • i want this so BAD!!!!!

  • saw one in person for the first time today at DIA

  • i want this truck so bad! everyone's been telling me to get a new vehical and i said if i get a new truck it will be this one, but i won't give up my '79 f-150! actually i wonder how the raptor would do in mud runs? >:D

  • i love this truck...

  • ya fords awesome

  • no... just this truck..

  • Damn, that is one bad ass truck. If it looks and handles like that stock, I wonder how it'll do with mods.

  • They talk about the transmission always going into 6th gear as a flaw because they're retarded and don't press that off road mode which sets up the tranny for off roading

  • I haven't bought anything but ford since 2000. i had a pontiacrap until then and it is no wonder Government Motors is so in debt. All my 4 fords since 00 are great and they last. A minor issue on my 07 last year but it was looked after. I will be buying the flex in June . It is the best vehicle i have ever driven. I rented a flex at xmas and the quality is unmatched. Cant wait.

  • I been a mopar guy my whole life. I never liked ford. But i am seriously liking this raptor. The prerunner stance makes me want to NUT!

  • hummer could probably outdo this thing.. just saying

  • Perhaps an H1, but I don't think that an H1 is rock clawer more then a V8 made to kick up sand. And H2 H3 suck, and will such harder now that GM has sold the brand to some Chinese company.

  • Still think SVT should have stuck with the street truck idea, but hey whatever works.....this just seems like an overly large waste of 310 or 400hp. Besides, the old Lightnings sounded SICK with that supercharger.....

  • If you want a street truck go with the Harley Davidson edition's, you won't be disappointed. But the Raptor is for off roading.

  • looks more like 2005 but werider

  • 2010 is now.

  • i wonder does it come in a stick shift version and is it made in america unlike those pussy toyotas i mean come on wich piece of shit person wants a foriegn vehical

  • @generalleejesse my toyota tacoma trd is amazing off road, as well as in terms of reliability and quality. Id take my "foreign" vehicle over a domestic one any day.

  • Yeah, take your TURD and see how it stacks up VS a Raptor.

If you read up on some of your car mags, you would find that Ford is above industry qauilty and on par with you little shit stain of a pickup. Besides with that weak ass frame that snaps and half due to farm rot, least I will still have a truck 10 years from now.

  • Im hardly impressed with your poor acronym insult. Yeah the raptor may win at desert dune jumping but it wont be able to hold its own in trail off-roading and crawling compared to the Tacoma. And as for the frame rot issue, Toyota will just buy it back for more than book value in ten years when you wont be able to sell that pos for a fraction of what you paid for it. When you can afford a a decent vehicle, then you can talk shit, till then you're only a poser.

  • It doesn't matter what Toyota pays you for your worthless truck. I wasn't refuting your claim that Toyota takes care of its customers, I was refuting your claim that Toyota is of high quality. Their new truck is even weaker. The tailgate, engine issues, MPG, towing, do I really need I go on?

Sure you can go out and get a new one with the money Toyota gives you, but I don't want Toyotas money. I want a truck that I can drive to work with out fearing its gonna snap in half.

  • Pretending my car is a valid argument What exactly do you mean by decent? Do you mean something that runs everyday and gets you to work, rain, shine, or snow? Or something badass like the Raptor? Besides "decent" is purely objective- I can say that the Ford Ranger a decent truck, but with your cock nice and erect as Toyota fucks you up the ass, I somehow doubt you agree.

But for the record I drive 1991 Nissan Maxima SE

  • @Roushfan5 well then i guess since you drive 1991 Nissan Maxima SE we can both agree you drive a pile of shit., that one is obvious. And as for my tacoma, only a potion were effected by the frame rot issue. Mine wasn't one of them i had it tested. Come back when you really know something about cars. Or at least when you own something that is worth arguing about.

  • No as a matter of fact, I love my car- it drives great, drives great, looks great, and gets decent gas milage.

"Come back when you really know something about cars. Or at least when you own something that is worth arguing about." What is that, self refection?

Over 800,000 trucks where effected. Thats a lot of trucks. Besides why is the only argument you could refute. Even if your frame isn't going to rust through its still weak. Thats why your POS Toyota never can tow as much.

  • I love my toyota it drives great, and gets great mileage for a truck. Comparing your car to my truck makes your car look like a piece of shit. Its tow rating is based of of its horsepower/torque and its over all weight distribution and dynamics not a "weak frame"

  • Comparing my CAR to you're TRUCK is really fucking retarded. Besides I would rather push my Nissan then drive your POS Toyota.

Yes, of course their is more than the frame to towing. I would never make an argument based on that, but the frame is WHY the Toyota can't tow as much. The weak frame makes the rest of the truck weak, and therefore unable to with stain the same weight as the Big Three. Dodge has a decent frame, but they pussied out on the rear end suspension. You dip shit.

  • The facts are: -Ford is rated above industry avg. quality pretty much across the board. Some even saying its BETTER then Toyota. truck wise: -Ford tows more -Ford gets the better MPG -Ford has a better frame -Ford dosen't look like a POS. My car VS you're truck -I like my car. Its been good to me, in my opinion it looks good, drives good. -If you like your pickup you drive it you have fun in it. I am not saying Toyota sucks, just your opinion is unrealistic of them. Good bye sir.
  • Comparing a car to a truck is not retarded if you comparing build quality and reliability dumbass. Im not comparing fucking ground clearance. Hope you enjoy pushing your pile of shit as my pos drives past you for another 300,000 miles

  • Why are you stuck in the past? If you're Toyota is so great, then why can the only comparison it can "win" is against a 20 year old car?

We paid $500 for a car thats only gone wrong one time, and that was a fuel injector. Even so a $500 for a year and a half trouble free driving on a 20 year old car? And it still got us all the way home from Seattle (a three hour drive) with out a problem on 5 cylinders.

Failing the timing belt going I don't see this car failing to get me from point A to B.

  • And I heard VERY little details about your TURD... wonder why that is...

  • Ive only had a brake light go out, if youre wondering why that is. Its a 2004 with 74,000 miles, i worked for 3 years to buy it and its the best vehicle ive had, better than my explorer and my two jeep cherokees. All of which had something major go wrong at some point within a year that i had each of them. Ive had the tacoma for 50k now and only a bulb has gone.

  • ITS A 200FUCKING4 WITH 100K LESS MILAGE THEN MY CAR! Thats an unfair comparison. Come back in the year 2024 when your truck is 20 years old w/every thing original. down to the tail lights.

Jeeps are shit (though is you had such problems with your first one, I fail to understand why you bought a 2nd) and if the explorer was pre 2007 then it was before Ford was considered on par w/Toyota.

  • It will be just like all the other old toyota pickups, they are everywhere. So what your saying is that my 2004 is shit to a ford thats made after 2007? isnt that also an unfair comparison as you stated. There is a reason car companies compare themselves to toyota, they are the best... and there is no questioning it. When youve had your license for more than 6 months and have owned something esle you'll realize what im talking about.

  • If your little Toyota is so great the the 3 year difference shouldn't be to hard for it to manage. Besides asshole that was not my point. My point was that if you where comparing a pre 2007 Ford that might not be a good representation of one manufactured at least four years later.

The reason why auto companies compare themselves to Toyota is because Toyota is perceived to have the best quality by the public.

  • Riddle me this hot shot. My Dad is 60 years old, has his license since he was 16. He has had Dodges, Fords, Nissans, Toyotas, etc. Guess which one HE thinks is the best why that would be NISSAN! Why is it that you think a drivers license is the key to all knowledge?

A soccer mom that has been driving minivans for 20 years might be able to tell you which is the best for road trips & such, but I wouldn't bet the avg. soccer mom can tell you which is better when it comes to engines & drivelines

  • Whereas a 10 yr old that loves cars w/a father that owns a shop, who spends all his free time around cars and other things with engine will know more then the avg. Person.

I personally know how engines world. I read car reviews and news, look up auto recalls, watch whatever I can about cars, and ask questions from professionals whenever I can. I've taken a class on small engines. Just because I don't have 50 yrs of experience reviewing cars dose not make me wrong.

  • I have said it before and I will say it again, I am not trying to convince you that Toyota sucks. Toyota is of high quality. No matter how full of shit their marketing department is, or how fugly their cars are, but they are overrated. I respect your opinion, you love your truck so you made the right purchase.

Just like I love my car, and you will get more milage then mine, mine was abused by the first owner. But our first Maxima? 220K miles at time of sale. I like to think it made the last 80K

  • This was a four part comment and unless you have anything other to say then good bye, or you get hat my car is not the complete pile of shit you claim it to be, then don't bother commenting. (not saying its better, or even good, but I KNOW its better then you make it out to be)

Good bye sir, enjoy your truck and for your sake may it make it to the 300,000 mile mark.

  • It can and it will just like all of the others.

  • And as for fords new found reliability in 2007 and on, we can only speculate as to how well built and reliable they really are as they are only 3 years old at most. Yeah they may be well off now but we wont truly know until another 7-10 years when it really counts.

  • New found reliability? My pop's '97 Explorer has 150k miles on the original 4.0 V6 and 5 speed auto and it still hauls our 22 foot boat out of the boat ramp with no problems at all and that's with RWD only. And he sucks at maintenance. That thing's lucky if it gets an oil change once every 15-20k miles.

  • Yeah my parents have a 96 Eddie Bauer with 190,000 miles on it the thing runs and goes good on the original auto transmission and 4.0 motor but all the electronics have been hell since day one.

  • lol, Yeah the electronics in these things can be problematic (my pop's came fully loaded with power everything and it's mostly the lighting system that causes problems) but the drivetrain (especially the 4.0 Cologne V6) is freaking bulletproof.

  • Yeah i mean i love my Tacoma its great and i can go anywhere. But i will admit that the explorer has done extremely well in the time we've had it since it was new. The electronics piss me off though.......cd changer doesn't work, dash lights flicker on and off, some times the radio works and sometimes it doesn't, the abs system doesn't work most of the time, fortunately the good things work like the 4wd and the wipers. Unfortunately the thing is slow as molasses in terms of acceleration

  • Damn, my pop's ain't that bad. He just had problems with his interior lighting (so he removed all the bulbs) and the power window (driver's side won't go up without assistance and passenger's is starting to do the same). But the 6 disk center console cd changer and dashlights work perfectly, so does the ABS. Light just stays on on the instrument panel but I was hauling our boat downhill last night in the rain and some guy cut in front of me and then a stop sign appeared out of nowhere and I...

  • hit the brakes and heard the tires squealing for a good 100-200 ft but somehow I managed to stop just in time. I could smell the burnt rubber from the tires, and I knew ABS had done it's job to save me.

  • Is he one of those old guys, going 20 under the limit, I always get stuck behind? They all seem to have new Toyota's and Nissan's.

  • No. We own sports cars because we drive them like sports cars.

  • hey hows the gas pedal doing on that toyota?

  • Its never stuck once, its a 2004, before they did the remodeling.

  • @slikk66 Probably still saving the owner money. My ranger gets 18 mpg highway. Painful for the wallet, but aside from that the truck kicks anus.

  • @slikk66 That was fucking amazing, Slikk.

  • @slikk66 Good

  • they should of rasied it 2'' more inches

  • you could pick priuses of the front grill like bug splatter lol

  • hands down its a sick fucking truck.

but it seems to take the fun out of

    building your own rally truck

but still sick but i think ill stick with my toyota

  • yeah it is pretty sick.

  • you know i really like the newer ram hemis but these new raptors are pretty sweet too maybe i will just buy a ram and build it into a prerunner.

  • but my raptor (yes i have one : ) also has a lot of electronis tailored for going offroad, and aftermarket cant do that. and it has a warranty! plus, this is essentially the same engine as is in the shelby gt500, so you can supercharge it to 540 hp.

  • oh really? yeah i didnt know that, i thought it just had the 4.6 in it, i am a dodge man but i am in no way biased against fords gas engines, because ford dont change them every 2 to 5 years like they do powerstroke no offense if you like powerstroke.

  • yep, and in a few months they will have the Boss 6.2 liter with 422 hp, and the 5.4 plenty quick, trust me, it WANTS to do 100 mph on the freeway, you wouldnt even know its so damn refined and comfy

  • Badass truck

  • "abuse like this can destroy a toyota pickup"

Bullshit, ive done some of that in my bone stock tacoma, and its still goin just fine. If i did what ive done to my RAM, it would be dead now.

  • @raiderz111

Hah my buddies job has a whole fleet of 2002 dodge ram dualies, every single one has a blown transmission or something else wrong with it.

Guess they are good trucks, unless you want them to actually tow something.

most of them are back to driving the 1990's fords and chevies to deliver the windows to the job site.

maybe it was the drivers, and not the trucks we sort of suspect, but damn its like 14 Dodges all with the same thing pretty much, oh the fuel inject sux 2

  • yeah, i like the F-150, its a good truck, but i my self would prefer a tundra :)

i just didnt like that one statement from who ever made this video lol

  • hell i like the tundas too. seems to be built rugged and with high quality parts.

hell you can burn a toyota and it'll still run, maybe wont smell or look good, but it'll start.

You just honestly don't see that many pre 1996 dodge rams still rolling around, absolutely no 1980's rams if you notice to/

But ill be damned if there isn't 1,000's of old fords, chevies and those old toyota toy trucks the mexicans seem to be so fond of still rolling after 250k+ miles and hellacious abuse.

  • Yeah, top gear attempted to "destory" a toyota hilux, and it still ran and drove :)

And the toyota tundra is 80% USA Parts and 10% Japanese (the major components), built/put together at the San Antonio Plant in texas....I dont think the same could be said about domestics, most of them outsource to Mexico, or canada.

  • Edmund's insideline is fucking biased when it come to comparison. With them, Ford NEVER wins against the competition, okay, maybe ONCE or Twice. But they ALWAYS find something wrong with the cars, when we ALL no the car is perfect. So Edmund's, fuck you. Thanks bye.

  • @Ford4Lyfe7 Agree with you 100%, they also hate dodge as well.

  • @Ford4Lyfe7 The Raptor just happens to be the most bad ass truck out there you would have to be blind deaf and severely mentally restarted not to notice.

and you don't know what your talking about Ford killed all the other competitors in the "half ton shoot out" take a look

  • @Ford4Lyfe7 Sorry Dude I misunderstood what you are saying.

    AGREED haha

  • @1crazycan Haha thanks.

  • @Ford4Lyfe7 ford sucks, the ram power wagon is better than this in every way except for jumping it. if you like ford its probably because you never driven anything else. or else you would realize what a piece of crap they are bud. although this truck is pretty sweet, for a ford anyway.

  • @Ford4Lyfe7 what was wrong with this one? the only griping i heard was the tranny putting itself in 6th gear all the time

  • are they still 4 wheel drive cuase they are comparing it to a prerunner which are usually 2wd so im confused

  • PreRunner is just a raised version of the stock tacoma, no 4x4

if you do its an option, either as 4x4 itsef, with a towing package, or with TRD Offroad/Sport

  • Fuck!!! I can't wait to get one. Maybe later when all the kinks are out of it.lol

  • i went to my ford dealership tday and they had one there it was black ohhh was it nice, the inside looks like something from a movie it has like 5 aux switches for idk and all these gadgets on it for off roading

  • any truck that looks this good, is brand new with a 6.2L v8, and has good enough performance to baja in the desert... 39000 is cheap

  • C/D mag just released BOSS 6.2 numbers...411hp/434tq

  • they have a 500hp option for 5 grand more

  • I still havn't seen anyone really romp the shit out of it.. Is there a reason for that? These videos remind me of the Hummer videos. Looks like it was more talk than anything.

  • This truck is amazing but if you dont live near a desert than i wouldnt buy it and it coast 43 000$

  • its like Ford is Santa and hes finally giving you the toy youve asked for since you were 8!

  • The same thing happens with my '07Mountaineer. Cruising at 60 in 6th gear the RPM are at 1500 and i NEED to downshift just to get a little more power. I live in a residential area where speed limits are 25-35 and the same thing happens with 3&4th gear. At 35mph, the rpm in 4th are around 1250 and the constant foot on and off the throttle makes the trans jump from 4th to 3rd when i let off and right back to 4th when i get back on it. It's annoying, but i keep the OD off for the most part.

  • First the complete face lift for the taurus now this...Wow ford, How much goodies are you gonna give us

  • This truck is kick ass!

  • So, instead of paying a shitload, can I uh... just get a big truck, with the same flashy paint job, and a lift kit? =P

$39k+ for a truck is, well, crazy. Maybe I'll wait till they come out used ,but, to be honest, I just want that look, and that sound.

  • i dont really like trucks, but this one is worth my time and money!!!

  • this is my next car. SOLD BABY! god damn that this is bad as fuck

  • That truck's got serious balls!

  • duuude I have to buy my bro one of these trucks cuz he told me to

  • btw they probably got the hill descent control from land rover

  • wanna know the best off road pro vehical. THE ALL NEW 2009 LR3 THE BEST

  • lets see the land rover jump

  • that is one sexy truck

  • 71.461 US-Dollar for the 5.4l v8 in germany :(

  • Just got my 5.4 Raptor for 46,000 $ fully loaded..I LOVE IT...
