No, not for electric~!  Nitros do have 2 speed though.

just nitro cars have gear shifting. the electro motors have enough power at low rpm to accelerate with 1 shift!

yes eletric cars are this fast easy have a look at the cyclone chassis for the expencive but probs the best but a tt-01 is the best entry level chassi hope this helps :)

electric. nitros have a higher speed but electric have alot more torque

its like gasoline cars and diesel diesel would be electric

@masterzun15 Not At All True. I Run Electric, And I've Ran Down Many Nitro Cars Down The Straights. And With Lipo/Brushless. No Maintenance At All ;) And In The Long Run Electric Is Way Cheaper. And No Rebuilding Engines Or Tuning. Other Then Timing. Which I Usually Only Run +1 or +2 And Offroad I Run 0

all i can say is slow down these guys arent just buying fast parts they set up tire thicknesses , how much oil, what weight of oil and they have had experience but i still encourage you to race :)
