I liked the old ways better like in 2008. I hate the new stuff. Why couldn't they stay with it? Curse of Blackmoor Manor was my first Nancy Drew game and I think the old stuff fit with that. They should've had a vote on this.

@MadameMadHatter i know. the old games are soo much scarier. i love it. i hate how bad the new games are haha. never scares me. MSM -- that was the epitome of freaky. doors opening and closing, curtains fluttering, all of these tiny yet completely unnerving things -- was amazing!

@toptoptoptopsecret haha, MHM was the first game I ever played and I was so confused as to what I was supposed to do i just wondered around and I eventually saw the ghost in the mirror thing, and it scared me so much I didn't play it for weeks.  not to mention the music it epicly creepy :)

In any case, this is going to be an interesting game to see remastered. The plot was overlooked in points such as the murder itself, why kids were so at ease and why there was no parents running around.

And the ending... the ending made no sense to me for whatever reason. ._.

I doubt it, that takes a lot of work and that would mean huge delays on new Nancy Drew games. Besides, the only two that ever really needed updating (Graphics wise) were the first two.

@LadyLatias Yeah. The first one was really bad graphics-wise, but it was what, 1998? No, I think that the thing that people will be looking forward to most will be... NO DISC SWITCHING! Though this will probably be the only one they're going to remaster.

@RCROX5000 The disc switching was absolutely ANNOYING. I didn't even wanna buy because of that reason alone. I'm glad that Michael put up a walkthrough so I could see the game instead of going through the pain of switching the discs myself. I hope they at least remaster Haunted Mansion and Shadow Ranch I would love to see an updated version of those. ^_^

Haunted Mansion would be nice to see remastered, though, plot wise, it was actually quite a thrilling game and not because a ghost or whatever full on lept out at you, but it made you feel like you were NEVER alone, watched, haunted, voices ("I can see you....") and moving shadows.

But why Shadow Ranch?

@LadyLatias I loved the music, the outlaw love story, the horse riding, making the shadow ranch cakes, hidden passages, and colors. However, there was one mini game in particular that annoyed the heck out of me. the one with some kind of mable thingy I think. I also despised picking out the veggies, that was annoying when you got only one wrong and you had to do it again. :( but it was a very memorable game, but I would love haunted mansion or stay tuned to be remastered the most.

Ah, I remember that mini game, there was actually a glitch in the game, if you did something, you could actually remove the boards that hid the maze. I don't think it needs to be remastered though, it was great enough on it's own.

I think it's more games that seemed to make little sense plotwise would be better remastered. Like the ND 2006 games, that seemed to be HerIn. off year, the plots weren't as engaging as they could've been and to me at least, made little sense.
