the head of the axe is still there at 0:08 the camera is just possitioned to the point where it is looking almost dirrectly at the tip of the blade, making it look extremely narrow to the point where it is hard to see. Pyro clearly doesn't have any blood on his axe because he is a demigod that has come down to kill mortals for his own amusmeant. His axe was made out of a mineral that only exists in the firey depths of hell so human blood cannot stain it, it just mearly bounces off of it.
