i would have to agree with GrimPurpleFilth, the killers electronic version doesnt appeal to me at all, making an electronic background is too pop culture. this song is natural, it has a mix of the folk music sound, and then a very beautiful violin, and as you said dynamics and harmonies that sound amazing. to replace that is sad to me, you should expand on something instead of breaking it down to make it easier, especially if your a well known band like the killers connor also wrote the song

@32parchy I love the Killers but I was really dissapointed when I heard their version. This song has so many great dynamics and textures made through the combination of so many different natural instruments. Plus the gorgeous vocal harmonies, flawless orchestration and mixing. You may personally find the Killers version more enjoyable, but to call it overall better is a stretch, man. In short, don't troll for the sake of trolling, or you might get someone like me trolling right back.
