  • OMG! I am so ashamed! "Second most senior diplomat"???! Campaign director??! I don't even know what to say! Aljazeera should have just invited Dr. Matrii Aung-Thwin and Dr. Zarni again. Or maybe Aljazeera should have hired an interpreter or something... What did Aljazeera expect to hear from these clowns?? Such a disgrace......

  • I don't understand why Aljazeera chose these two idiots burmese, they can't even speak proper English.

  • ah ha ha... i like the way of the way of their express how much they TRUST thein sein government??

  • schchen2000, Lewismyihtoi, chrisburma1, mandalaytharr, SL4yb I like your comments! :)

  • The guy representing US Campaign For Burma is wearing a shirt with all kinds of prints on his chest. You are no longer in a refugee camp, dude. For God's sake, go get a decent shirt before you make a media appearance next time though I have serious doubt that you will ever get one.

  • It's very hard to understand these people.

  • @joyo17 I agree. I'm from Burma but have been in the States for a while and I even have a tough time understanding these guys.

  • He cares about the burmese and NOT ABOUT KEYSTONE!!!!!!!!!!!! Obama SNAKE

  • Aljazeera..... pleaseeeee pick the better person for interview. These tow clowns are terrible and disgrace for Burmese.

  • Stop the Chinese pipeline cutting through the heart of Burma to Kyaukphru!

  • Just kick the Chinese out of Burma. Everything will improve.

  • I cannot believe Aljazeera chose two stupid Burmese men to be on this discussion. We have better Burmese academicians abroad, even in Washington D.C. The diplomat is a coward and the other guy doesn't even understand the questions. This is disgusting and a disgrace to Burma. Aljazeera, please, next time find better people. I feel so stupid just by watching this video.

  • @chrisburma1 honestly! it's painful to watch.

  • Hey aljazeera, you should contact better person. I am pretty sure we(Burmese) have a lot of well-educated people in USA. I am so annoy with these 2 person's spoken English. Look at them one is an activist who is in the states for so long he can't speak better, the other is former embassador of Burmese regime, i am really ashamed for him because he represented Burma as an embassador in Washington before. Very poor guys,

  • Whats her game, what you up to now hillary, what you after?

  • The U.S. doesn't bother with a country without resources. Period !

  • MOST poor/third world countries & people have NOT been able to tap such resources of RAW natural resources --- even the kinds that can be readily tapped (land, oil, minerals, water, etc.) --- at the levels Americans & Europeans are able to do.

Plus the "cheap" LABOR, "over there," with which you could tap to make goods cheaply for you own consumption, here, in the West.

If Americans & Europeans don't move in, China will dominate because she needs to feed, clothe, & educate 1.3B Chinese.

  • That's because Europe --- outside of the vast Russia steppes --- have very little RAW natural resources left.

Brains and education alone, which Europeans in particular and Westerners in general have plenty of DO NOT develope nations. It is a big misconception.

You had to have the readily available RAW resources (the ATOMIC STRUCTURES of elements put in the various chemically useful positions and places) needed to FABRICATE things with, in order to build and to enrich society....

  • the defector has a nigerian accent!!!

  • pro-democracy = US supported, US friendly, US interests domestic representative

  • trust no government

  • The correct question would be:

"What's in it for the Rothschild-Rockefellers?"...

  • We should wait until the end of the April 1 by-election. Many countries like the U.S and the EU are yet to see if the election process is free and fair and the national reconciliation is sustainable before they make any adjustment in their sanctions. As for the U.S, I think they are considering about their national economic interest too. A delegation of U.S. corporations is coming to Burma in February and their comments, I guess will be something for the congress to review the sanctions.

  • I rather enjoy these 25 minute posts, very informative.
